Receiving an e-mail from Capital Vacations advertising discounted vacations with no money down--LIKE A DUMMY--I inquired. I filled out the information that they requested including my bank and checking account. They weren't to remove any funds until I gave them permission. BOY WHAT A FOOL!!!
Last month a total of $278.00 was taken out of my checking account electronically plus anoher $164.00 in NSF and OVERDRAFTS. I called them and they guaranteed me that by yesterday September 6,2004 or today September 7, 2004 all monies would be replaced. Not one cent has been so. When they pulled this, they put me over $400 plus in the whole. I am on a limited budget of $584 a month--SSI and Spousal Support. I am 57 years old and I surely thought I have seen it all. BOY WAS I WRONG!!
Cheyenne, Wy. doesn't have a BBB, just a Consumers Affair and I'm in the process of filing a complaint with that office. I am also closing that checking account and my bank has been working with me, to get THEIR mess cleared up.
