Received an email from ezines@arcamax.com(third party) and there was a toll free number to sell stuff on ebay.(online store) I called the number, and they explained it to me. sounded good, for only 6.95..shoulda known..my card was declined, so I said I would call back.

Then fiance called and said 149.00 was gone from the account, which overdrew it, and it was suntasia marketing. I called the number again. No answer. Used the *67 feature and called back. aha!! caller id in force!! The man there said to call customer service, which the number was given to me by the first man. I called customer service, and the man there acted like he never heard of it, but he almost agreed with me, and caught himself when I mentioned the other number. I called my bank and had a block put on my account, and will have to open a new one. I want restitution for whatever I can get.

#4 Consumer Suggestion

Contact the Publisher

AUTHOR: Scott - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, August 25, 2004

ArcaMax Publishing (www.arcamax.com) originally ran the ad that this consumer responded to. We learned about this problem when we read the ripoff report on this site. At that time, we contacted the advertiser about this issue.

This is the only complaint we're aware of about this advertiser, and we are pleased that they have resolved it so quickly.

We suggest contacting that publisher to inform them you're having difficulty with an advertiser. We do not run advertising from companies for which we receive an excessive number of complaints, especiallly when these complaints are not addressed properly.

If we don't receive complaints, we assume that the advertiser is operating legitimately and continue to run their advertising.

Thank you for the service this website provides.

Online Suppliers contacted me with apology

AUTHOR: Lu Ann - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, August 24, 2004

It took two weeks, but the Online Supplier's contacted me to apologise and to offer any assistance I might need. I told them no, I had resolved the problem on my own the same day it happened. Aaron, the individual who called me, was very professional and pleasant, unlike one other I had talked to two weeks ago.

I can only offer this advise: If you never heard of them, don't respond.

Suntasia Marketing is still out there, however, and how they got my information is still a mystery.

Online Supplier's is not the culprit in this situation, but it just seemed too much of a coincidence to me.

I apologise to Online Suppliers and for any misunderstandings.

This complaint was brought to my attention today 8/24/04. Our company has no affiliation with Suntasia Marketing nor has ever done business with them. A representative from our company called Lu Ann to explain this and make sure that her issues were resolved. She said that her issues were resolved. If we can be any further assistance or if any customer has any questions or issues they can reach our customer service at 1-800-831-3952.

Sincerely,
Online Supplier
