I bought their top of the line tandum 2 car lift, the ST-9000. They delayed delivery by MONTHS, and claimed it was their SUPPLIER causing the problem. Well they own the responsibility of supplier management not me, I paid them, not their supplier. So after false promises, I disputed the charge. It took a while to process the paperwork, but in that time, they FINALLY arrived to install the lift. What ensued was commical. Missing parts, wrong parts, wrong size parts, poor manfucaturing requiring GRINDING and removal of safety feature security items, all to just get it to work. Ultimately it didnt work correctly at all. I ended up having to go and pay other mfg'ers to fix the problems and get the lift where it needed to be operationally. It still leaks like crazy at the hyrdolic cyclinder and even last week, out of the blue, one of its roller bearings busted into 20 pieces, and I had to source a replacement.
After they got wind of my dispute, and they were in the process of install, the sales manager/plant manager FINALLY called me and returned my 100s of calls I left him. I told them if the lift got installed correctly and everythign worked perfectly, I'd remove the dispute, OR they could just take it all back right now, and not finish the install.
The guy agreed, and after a week's install, when it was ONLY supposed to take ONE day, he agreed I should get a $1000 back on the $12,000 I spent for all my grief and missery over this. But in order to pay me that, he wanted me to drop the dispute, and he signed paperwork stating such. I dropped my dispute for the 12k, and NEVER heard back from him, and never got my check for $1000. I took them to court and WON. I received a summary judgement against them, stating they owed me the $1000 they agreed to. We NEVER got a dime of it, and we have certified mail sent to them over and over again, and sent collection agencies after them, STILL NO PAYMENT. AVOID THESE PEOPLE, THEY DELIVER A SUB PAR INFERIOR PRODUCT, AND WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WORD OR THEIR PRODUCT.
