Surewest Communications moving out of their service area will cost you! Sacramento, Internet

Do not use Surewest for internet services or anything else. I signed up with Surewest for high speed internet. A few months later we purchased a new home. When we called Surewest to transfer our service to the new location we were told they did not service the location so we had to cancel. They then charged us a $160 early termination fee. When I called customer service to say that we did not intend to cancel but we were told they didn't service our area they said that they still charge the fee even if you move. They do not notify you of this up front. I would never have signed up with them if I did knew they would charge you for moving somewhere else. Frontier Communications waived the fee when we moved out of their service area. Shame on you Surewest!
