I contacted Mr.Swank about buying one of his puppies. He was short with his answers but I figured he was busy. We decided to get 2 pups so they wouldn't get lonely and have each other to play with. At no time did Swank warn me this is a bad idea. One of them was so aggressive we ended up rehoming him. Swank sent both pups in the same crate but charged shipping for 2. The crate had marked 1 animal. The dog we rehomed was always slow moving but figured he just had a calm demeanor. He ended up really sick and had a rock in his stomach, ended up with pneumonia and 5k in vet bills. Swank posts he guarentees the dogs temperament but when asked he said he warned me. (Which he didnt) I asked for a refund on the dog and he did not reply, so now I am posting here. Then I will contact the BBB, Department of Ag in Missouri, the AKC plus the IRS to make sure he is paying his taxes as a business and hopefully I can recoup the vet bills and cost of the dog.
