FIRST AND FOREMOST: I am not a competitor, which is what Anastasia says to the numerous complaints against her. I am the mother of the groom, married on Tybee Island on June 20, 2009. My son and his fiancee used Sweet Dreams Wedding Designs - namely Anastasia Stevenson because we live in Ohio and they wanted a beach wedding on Tybee Island. Ms. Stevenson cancelled "the event"
as she called it in her email to my son the day before they were to leave for Tybee Island Georgia. She has approx $10,000 of his money and has refused to take his phone calls or contact him. He has obtained legal counsel.
This woman is a monster. we have found out that there are numerous law suits against her for the same thing. HOW CAN SHE GET BY WITH THIS?
We found out that her business license was pulled in February, and yet she continued to take my son's money. Her reason for cancelling at the last minute? she said she did not feel they would be happy with the services she provided because several changes had to be made.
We talked to many shop owners and restaurant managers while we were on the Island, they all had negative things to say about this woman.
We pulled the wedding off ourself and it was beautiful. The people on Tybee were wonderful to us and all pitched in to help with this special occasion.
PLEASE BE WARNED - DO NOT DEAL WITH ANASTASIA STEVENSON!!
WE HAVE HEARD SHE IS NOW PRACTICING IN LOS ANGELES - WE WILL ALERT PEOPLE THERE ALSO, BECAUSE SHE SHOULD BE IN PRISON.

The Governor's office of Georgia ruled in Favor of sweet dreams and Anastasia Stevenson in this case.
The Son was found guilty of attempted FRAUD. He lied to his parents and the insurance company.
We feel sorry for his mother and understand why she believed her son. However, nothing in this complaint is factual.
We were never given the amount listed, 2 separate venues canceled his event.WE had to also bow out of servicing his event because of his fraudulent behavior. He was caught trying to fraud all vendors by hiding his actual guest count He booked for 52 and actually had 125 people coming, and the venues could not support the actual guest count.
He was refunded $5000.
We are innocent of these claims and have been proven so by the highest court in the state.
