Not so much different than your son the impostor, you also cannot bring any facts to the table but defend yourself with convoluted statements and untrue "facts". Why don't you back everything you say up with facts. Let me help you out:

Your formal principal of SMA Hotel Management Academy in Neuhausen, Dr. Darren Value, can not be found anywhere online, if he has opened his own Hotel Management School, there would be evidence online, incorporation online, website or reviews, however nothing can be found. One can assume that you are either inventing a name or a former business partner, you are no longer in good standing with or does not care to be associated with you, is to be blamed. "Tried to steal these students from SMA" how convenient….

How come you even have a SMA Hotel Management Academy in Neuhausen, that is neither registered nor accredited, and neither you, nor George Kuenzli or Jacques Kuhn have any credentials in Hotel Management. And nothing can be found on Barbara Straub. Maybe you should list your teachers you have employed and what kind of credentials they have (if any).

It is also quite interesting that you conveniently make up a story about Sandeep Patel, you say he came begging you to take him back and you took him. Then you say you were at Mr Kumar's (please write down full name of the person so one can investigate if that is correct) office at the exact time Sandeep called on the phone to talk to Mr. Kumar? And why was another student of yours Amita Sharma a witness?

These six students came back and "BEGGED ON THEIR KNEES", how dramatic is that? I find it quite poor that you would take such vulnerable people that are in Switzerland because they were lured into your fraudulent school to then belittle them even more after getting nothing from you. They travelled to a foreign country with no knowledge of the place or of you, and were at your mercy to do whatever you wanted.

IF the students wrote a letter to the Indian High Commission that everything was ok, why don't you have a copy with all the signatures? If you do, please post it! And how convenient again that Sandeep is the scape goat in your story who was responsible to send the letter to Bern, who did not do it and did not tell anybody. If this was such a big deal for the 6 students and YOUR reputation and school, why would YOU not collect the signed letter and mail it or even bring it to Mr. Kumar since you obviously were at his office and knew him at that time.

Mr. Meier, you are a storyteller and a perfect manipulative, deceitful liar. You use innocent people who are undereducated and in hope for a real future, yet all you care is being the center of attention of people who want to believe in quality education since you embellish your school with the "Swiss" quality symbol so well and make these poor people believe in "quality" that you ruin for everybody and have been for many years, and don't you worry since you have no facts, I will supply everything there is for the whole world to see what a liar you are, what a fraud your school is and to expose the impostors involved.

You write that former Federal Councillor Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey proimsed to help you? Help you with what?

Poor SMA was never informed.... about what? About the fact that officials found out you were an unaccredited school? They shut you down and didn't tell you first so you could do what? I am sorry Mr. Meier, but you are playing the victim and a bad one at it. Nobody is going to give you a hand from the government if they find out that you are running a fraudulent school. And I am sorry but nobody will believe your sob story that one insignificant Indian student can have such a HUGE impact to shut down your school because of a LIE! There is much more behind all of this. A school doesn't shut down or go bankrupt because of one angry student. There are many angry students in the world even from established, recognized award winning schools, they don't go bankrupt or shut down because of ONE student (or even 6 for that matter). You know why you went bankrupt and why you shut your operation down, it was fake, a fraudulent diploma mill that exploited foreign students that were sucked into your scam.

How do you know about the claim being rejected by the Indian court? If Sundeep's father really opened a case and sued SMA and you had to provide evidence (as you write) than all court documents should be available and you could prove to us all that this is the case.

If the school was not run in a 10 x 10-ft room, why not prove it. Provide evidence from the Hotel Rheinfall that you indeed rented a bigger room. "The entire hotel was at the disposition of SMA and its students"? Did SMA rent the entire hotel? One can just go onto their website and see.

Why don't you post the curriculum of those 6 students in question? Where did they stay, what did you teach, when and where and what were they supposed to learn in what time frame to get what diploma? Which teacher (George Kuenzli, Jacques Kuhn, Barbara Straub and yourself) taught what subjects? If it is so legitimate and serious as you say provide facts! FACTS not FICTION! "Various Topics" what does that mean? The school never was and still isn't authorized on any level!

You accuse Mr. Prasad of not paying the full school fee for the first semester, however he had to pay for his son to travel to Switzerland and pay housing which we all know is very expensive. He paid a lot of money for Indian standards to go to your fraudulent school, and we will never know if he paid you a semester or not, what we do know that any penny spent on going there to attend any of your schools was a waste of money and any right minded person would want their honest, hard earned money back.

How funny to blame your "HARD TIMES" at Sandeep Patel's "CAMPAIGN" of lies, if all you stated before that you met with Mr. Kumar that Micheline Calmy-Rey was going to help you and that the court dismissed Mr. Prasad's claim due to your evidence, than you and your school would have been perfectly fine. You preyed on poor Indian students to pay you a lot of money to believe in your scam and never question it. To receive a bogus certificate that is worth nothing and send them back home. Unfortunately the truth came out and you had to shut down and file for bankruptcy because rules are stricter in Switzerland than in let's say Kenya or other countries you go to with your seminars and courses and fake schools and flaunt around the "SWISS" quality brand you nowhere near symbolize.

You blame the Swiss Embassy for stopping to grant students visas to come to your fraudulent school? Thank god they did, it is called "CONSUMER PROTECTION". Did they stop granting them for every country in the world or only India? Why don't you have Swiss, Austrian, German, American students? Everything about your whole school, seminars, education and yourself is fishy.

Yes you always had a registered address in Switzerland at your son's place/companies, for example NEUHOFSTRASSE 8 in Duebendorf, where most of Norman V. Meier's companies were registered, or even later BETTLISTRASSE 35 also in Duebendorf. You gave up your Swiss location because it no longer was working out for you. You live in Kenya your buddy George Kuenzli in the Philippines and who knows where the rest of the "faculty" is from, it is inconsistent and stinks to high heavens, how can you run a legitimate school in Switzerland if you and the rest of your buddies are also all over the world.

It doesn't matter if you were involved with George Neuf at First United AG. The FACT is that you wrote a BOOK with him, something very personal and time consuming. You can no longer hide the facts that you collaborate with shady people and you have just not yet been charged with any fraud. You have a track record back decades of fraudulent business ventures.

You and your son were both active at CORUMEL! I will post the document to remind you of how you were involved together. Also just recently his new venture Shrink Nanotechnologies purchased your company American Geologics (see attachments). Norman Meier has also incorporated SMA Swiss Management Academy in the USA, a document will be supplied.

"SMA is a global education organization with Campuses or Liaison Offices in about 30 countries presently". ABOUT 30? Why not make a detailed list and prove that it is a RECOGNIZED, AUTHORIZED organization, prove you have campuses or liaisons that are legitimate. Again you are just plastering this review with vague, unproven stories.

Nothing would be wrong with your son Norman V. Meier mentioning you in his book if you were a decent, honest, successful business man, however you are not, and he knows it as well as you. You are both carved from the same wood and he learned early from your seminars how you brainwash people and lie to their faces with your fake self issued PhD. Where is your dissertation? Newport University, Switzerland Campus of Newport University, Newport University Switzerland Campus or even Janus, nothing was ever accredited, recognized or authorized to hand out PhD's. It's fake and it's simply a money-for-diploma mill. There is enough evidence throughout all these years. 

On the topic of all of these schools, you mention that Norman Meier does not have his degrees from Newport University Switzerland, why than does he plaster all over the internet, on his own website, on every CV and on any company biography of himself that he has a PhD from Newport University Switzerland?

You both should get your lies synchronized so if one writes one thing at least you both write the same lie, it becomes very easy to point out all the scams you are doing. Also you don't even know what is true and what isn't anymore because you both have mastered this web of lies and deceits that it is slowly coming apart.

And YES your and George Kuenzli's degrees are as questionable as any other person ever getting a diploma from any of the above mentioned schools. Neither you nor George Kuenzli have a PhD in Human Behaviour - By the way, is that the only PhD you hand out? You have not been questioned yet but your time is up and stuff is coming out all over the internet from all around the world; India, Malaysia, Switzerland and soon every person will find the truth about you and your school. Maybe people in Russia, Kenya, Italy/San Marino, India, Iran etc will know what a fraud you are and no longer put up with you and your fellow SMA people.

If you offer high quality education all over the world, prove one institution that would consider your PhD anything equivalent to an accredited school. Nobody will ever take this piece of paper serious. The only reason you, George Kuenzli and Norman Meier can plaster the internet with such achievements is because non of you are ever "employed" you simply have your own fraudulent companies and think a PhD makes it so much more professional. It is illegal to hold a fake PhD in most countries and you and your son have been doing this for way too long without being caught!

And of course your poor students who paid you money and finally got a certificate in Kenya won't question their diploma, they are happy because they do not know better, they have no comparison nor would they ever get a job with that certificate in anywhere in Europe. You teach and train them that the world is their oyster, until they have a big wake up call..... Where will you move than? To Alaska? Maybe Eskimos are interested in getting a PhD, BBA or MBA from SMA Swiss Management Academy or Newport University Alaska?

"At one time, one of our students was declared "best young entrepreneur of the year" by the Swiss Cash newspaper." If that is so, why not post the student's name and the exact article, you must be so proud that you kept that article, it should be no problem to supply that article to this report.

It clearly doesn't matter if you know a T. Martin, if this person was non-existing, who do you think wrote this review? The Air? A Robot? An Alien?

You just know you have been exposed and try to make up stories, twist facts, make up people and call T. M**** non-existing so it will give you more credibility? All attached information will shed some more light about all of this.

I hope nobody ever has to put up with your lies and that someone can spend their money at a reputable, accredited, recognized and authorized school that will give them a great future and chances to get a legitimate job, instead of wasting their money to pay for your lifestyle and your on-going scams.

SMA – Swiss Management Academy – Prof. Dr. Edwin (Eddie) Meier

Sandeep Patel's representation of the events in SMA Swiss Management Academy in 2008, published by a certain Mr. T. Martin from San Diego, California, cannot remain unopposed. It is in large parts absolutely contradictory to the facts.

The former principal of SMA Hotel Management Academy in Neuhausen, Dr. Darren Value, had decided to open his own Hotel Management School and tried to “steal” these students from SMA.

Since a foreign student can not just change the school for which he got a visa, these six Indian students had to invent dramatic lies in order to try to do it. They went to the Indian High Commissioner, Mr. Kumar, in Bern, the Capital of Switzerland.

I, Prof. Dr. Edwin Meier, have visited that office when Sandeep called on the phone. Mr. Kumar told him, if what he was saying should be untrue, he would land in jail as soon as he set foot into India. (Witness: Ms. Amita Sharma, also a SMA student in Neuhausen, presently living in Neftenbach near Winterthur in Switzerland)

The six students left SMA for Dr. Values school but, after just a little over a week, they returned and “begged on their knees” that SMA would take them back, which we did. These students then wrote a letter to the Indian High Commission that everything was OK with SMA and all of them signed it. Sandeep Patel, who was commissioned by the group to send the letter to Bern, did not do it (without informing anybody), since he knew he would be proven a liar by this letter and consequently go to jail, as soon as he ever returned to India.

For this reason, Mr. Kumar assumed the students’ complaint to be true and informed the Ministry of the Interior in New Delhi accordingly, which office forwarded it to the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EDA), the head of which at that time was Federal Councilor Ms. Micheline Calmy-Rey who had promised to help us. The EDA sent the report to the Swiss Federal Immigration Office, which, in its turn, forwarded it to the Alien Police in Schaffhausen. SMA was never informed about or even asked to respond to these false accusations.

As for the enormous amount of money Sundeep’s father pretends having spent for the education of his son and the legal fight he mentions, it has to be said that their claim was rejected by the Indian court based on the evidence provided by SMA.

The assertion that the School was being run in a tiny 10 x 10-ft room is absolutely ridiculous. SMA had rented the whole Hotel Rheinfall, which is one of the best hotels in Neuhausen, in a five-story building. The entire hotel was at the disposition of SMA and its students.

Also the allegations that SMA had only one teacher, the college lacked basic infrastructure and was not authorized to run courses are outright lies. Besides myself, Prof. Dr. Edwin Meier, Prof. Dr. Jacques Kuhn, Prof. Dr. George Kuenzli, Ms. Barbara Straub and others were teaching the various topics. The school was absolutely authorized and had twice been eduQua certified. Afterwards, it also obtained ISO 9001:2000 and 9001:2008 quality certifications.

If the institute would not have been recognized, the Swiss Embassy would not have issued any student visa. Mr. Prasad also says that he had paid for tuition and housing of his sun. However, the truth is that he never even paid the full school fee for the first semester.

It is also absolutely not true that I had fled after closing the institute on account of bankruptcy. It is true that SMA had to go this difficult road but it was Sandeep Patel’s campaign of lies that caused the Swiss Embassy to stop granting student visa for our potential students. Without income the school could not continue operation but had to file for bankruptcy. SMA was also legally incorporated and registered in the USA. Dr. Eddie Meier did not flee but officially went to his family in Kenya. He always had a registered address in Switzerland and still visits this country quite often.

As for my alleged contacts with various persons that are viewed negatively and some negatively stated “facts”, I just wish to put right the following:

Mr. Georg Neuf had engaged Prof. Meier for his Seminar Department. He was never involved in any other activities for Mr. Neuf’s “First United AG”. No litigation proceedings have ever been initiated or threatened against me.

Furthermore, I never had any activities in my son Norman Meier’s enterprises. Also, who could find anything illegal or immoral in my son’s saying in his book that he admires my unbreakable belief in my vision, and that I would remain his hero, no matter what happens?

Saying that I should have taught Norman early in his life how to scam people, take their money and move to another scam, is a very bad insult. I have no criminal record whatsoever and never taught my son to scam anybody. SMA is a global education organization with Campuses or Liaison Offices in about 30 countries presently. There is no question of moving to another country and start a new scam

As for the connection between SMA and Newport University, the truth is that the former NGS Newport Graduate School operated for over 25 years as a franchisee of Newport University. There was never any reason to doubt the integrity of Newport University, which enjoyed full institutional approval by the State of California. The director in charge of the post-secondary office in Sacramento, Mr. Miller, explained to the directors of NU’s franchisees from all over the world on occasion of a Directors’ Meeting, that this approval process was even more severe than an accreditation and was considered by the State of California as absolutely equal. Witness: Prof. Dr. George Kuenzli, who was also present at this meeting in California. When NU’s President, Dr. Ted Dalton, retired, we decided to start our own global franchise system and changed the name legally to SMA Swiss Management Academy. Since 2002, we were no longer part of NU’s global franchise system. The statement of Moneyhouse with respect to Edwin Meier being a signatory of Switzerland Campus of Newport University was correct at the time. However, as this institution has been closed quite a long time ago, it is absolutely outdated.

Also the allegation that Newport University Switzerland Campus had issued Norman Meier’s MBA and PhD in Human Behavior is absolutely untrue. All degrees were issued exclusively by Newport University, USA. In this connection, saying that Edwin Meier and George Kuenzli also have PhDs in Human Behavior seems to insinuate that their degrees also might be questionable. As to my knowledge, we never have been criticized for holding a PhD by NU or challenged to “set the record straight”. I have been a guest professor in so many mostly public universities in Russia, Kenya, Italy/San Marino, India, Iran etc. where nobody ever had the slightest doubts about my competence.

Furthermore, SMA is not a scam and does not rip off any Kenyan or other students, but offers high quality academic education all over the world. Far from ripping off any students, SMA has offered many full or partial scholarships. Our students never said that our certificates were useless, and they were more than satisfied with the education they received. – At one time, one of our students was declared “best young entrepreneur of the year” by the Swiss Cash newspaper. I think that this is proof enough that SMA’s education cannot be that bad.

By the way, we really don’t know any person by the name of T. Martin. It seems that this person is non-existant.
