wow! thank you ripoffreports.
I was at the 2nd interview on thursday and of course, carefullu selected and all excited to get started on monday, until i read some reports under synergy expansion. But i shook it off because the regional manager evean told us in the 2nd interview that all these bad reports are written by people who got angry because they were not chosen or got fired before they finished the training because of bad attitude. just out of curiosity i typed in their previous name synergy management, used be in mountain view and read 4 reports all saying that what i am going to do through training will be perfume paddling without permits (illegal) in parking lots, streets, and gas stations. and will only get paid small portion of what i will sell.
this was different than what i have heard through interview process. but i still thought that i could probably do it in a dream of becoming a branch manager eventually managing 6-8 people under me. nothing comes easy in life, right? and i started to wonder why evan's numbers did not show COGS or employee payroll if it's going to be a real operating branch. something didn't seem right. and i decided to search further on " scentura creations" there were some 250 complaints there from all over the country since 2002. Reading through those reports one by one gave me a chill. it was exactly what happened to me on last two interviews. the business names each distributor, such as liz and evan, were all different but the method / script was identical.
i ralized thta liz and evan were just con artistists / distributor, who advertised hiring ads just to lure people in to build their pyramid. so i am going to be eventually after the training period is another distributor at the bottom of their pyramid while sellings perfumes on the street to help their volume and only branch i'll get is the branch like liz and evan run in san jose, constantly scouting someone who will grow pyramid under me through false hiring ad and lying to the candidates just like liz and evan did to me. i almost fel betrayed, stupid, and wanting to cry. that's not the honest way i lke to make a living.
why didn't they tell me the truth on the first interview that what they are looking for is mlm distributor under their pyramid who can grow their own pyramid whatever unethical way they can?i saw some really deperate looking people in the 2nd interview, those people may still take the position. Lying to jobseekers who is looking for real salried job is very bad especially in this economy. Wasting 3-4 hours their time is Worse.
if you also are a victim please write to protect future victims. is it even legal what they are doing???

Oi, I almost fell for these guys. I had the 1st interview with them yesterday, where Liz is telling you that if they liked you, they'll call you back in a few hours for the 2nd interview later in the week. She explicitly says that they'll only call you back if they're really interested, because they don't want to waste your time or theirs. Right!
Apparently, they call everyone back. $30k a year starting out?? I knew it was too good to be true. I had a feeling something was fishy about these guys, and I'm glad I looked them up before I went and sat through 2.5 hours of BS. Thanks Ripoff Report.
