To Whom It May Concern:



I have been a customer for over 5 years with T-Mobile and recently changed my service due to not only your customer service representatives, but also due to the fact that your accounting is horrible.  I have not been satisfied due to being overcharged with incoming texts that I had blocked and were allowed to be billed to my account, (which I realize that you are in a Class Action suit over that one), unauthorized ringtones and I now have a problem ending your service. 



I called to see if your company would compete with your competitor on pricing for two phone lines that I have paid for over two years, and my single line for more than 3 years.  I previously had your pay as you go phone for two years because I didnt need a cell phone with many minutes.  Then my situation changed and I needed one with more minutes.



When asking if I could get a rate that was competitive my result was that they could do $79.95 for two phones plus taxes that only included phone service for two phones.  NO text, NO web, NO email, just not what I needed so I changed service.  By the way your competitor had all those services and I am only paying $40.00/per mo. Which after taxes costs me only $48.02 a month.  BIG difference!



The first phone line I had disconnected was the 816-200-9239 phone number and that occurred around December 23, 2009 after the contract ended on December 18th.  (Which I believe was another class action law suit regarding all the phone companies trying to pull that one, and then the Supreme Court of the United States made that practice illegal) Then because you could not compete with the amount I was going to be charged by the other company with providing the other services I turned my service over to your competitor on December 28, 2009. 



I received a letter for my Final bill dated January 4, 2010 stating I owe only $69.05 which should have only been for $59.05 due to an unauthorized ringtone that I was being billed on the previous months bill that I never ordered.  As you can see in my history I have never ordered one in the entire history of my time with your company.  Then I receive another bill after I received a final notice for $218.95.  When I called to talk with the customer service representative EricL.Employee number 3181800 he stated that now my bill was $218.95.  So as I could see I wasnt getting anywhere with him I talked to his supervisor, Erica, Employee number 1270371 she was trying to tell me that I didnt pay a bill back in July and that it was from that.  Which as I explained I had all my receipts in front of me as well as your bills reflecting my payments being paid she did the big back stroke and then stated we bill in the rears.  I asked then why did I have to pay a month in advance when I switched and upgraded and bought the popular Razor when I stepped up from the pay as I go phone? 



(Which by the way I didnt get any credit for my remaining minutes when I switched my service to monthly billing) Then again she did the big back stroke and stumbled all over herself. 



As I see it I owe your company only the $59.05 stated in your Final Bill.  So that is all you are going to get.  I will dispute and prove my side to any credit reporting agency.



If your company had their scruples together, were competitive and had better customer service representatives you may not be losing your business to your competitors.  If you take a lesson from what Sprint has done to lose customers by their lack of customer service, and competitiveness then you will see how the public is now viewing your company.  I would immediately turn my practices around before your company no longer exists.  I have seen the pages and pages of T-Mobile on RipOffReport.com and your company has a long list of customer service problems as it looks for years now with no resolving these problems.  As I see it your company has no intention of taking care of customer service problems.  So if I find that you have reported the difference of what I think I owe and what you think I owe I will be also filing a lawsuit in court and I believe I will have plenty of people to go along with yet another CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against T-Mobile just by all the people on RipOffRiport.com.

WAS A T-MOBILE CUSTOMER FOR OVER A DECADE.  MY FAMILY WAS ECONOMICALLY CHALLENGED TO WHERE WE LITERALLY ENDED UP HAVING TO MOVE 7 TIMES WITHIN 6 YEARS.  MY 8TH MOVE UP NORTH CHANGED THE FAMILY SITUATION TO WHERE THERE WERE UNCOMPROMIZING SITUATIONS THAT INCLUDED A PARENTAL HEALTH ISSUE AS WELL AS A DOMESTIC ISSUE.  SO I MOVED. 

1000 MILES NORTH AND KEPT MY SERVICE WITH T-MOBILE ON THE THREAT THAT BECAUSE AT ONE TIME I LIVED IN ORLANDO AND THE COMPLEX HAD BUILDINGS THAT SUPPOSEDLY HAMPERED MY SIGNAL WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDER TO WHERE I WAS TOLD THAT THE BUILDINGS MAY BE INTERFEREING WITH THEIR TOWERS.  SO, I WAS OFFERED A DEVICE ..

A CELL PHONE BOOSTER DEVICE THAT WAS MERELY CHEAP PLASTIC BUT AS IT WERE NEEDED BECAUSE I WAS COERSED TO DOING THIS REMEDY AS EXPLAINED BY THE T-MOBILE REP ON THE PHONE AT THE TIME.  AS IT WERE, THE DEVICE ARRIVED BUT PRIOR TO GETTING THIS EQUIPMENT WAS NEVER APPRISED OF ANY CONTRACT OR COST FOR SUCH A REMEDY. 

MOVED THREE MORE TIMES DUE TO ECONOMIC HARDSHIP AND SUBSEQUENTLY MISLOCATED OR LOST THE TOWER BOOSTER.  i HAVE SINCE RESEARCHED SEVERAL SHOPPING AVENUES FOR THIS DEVICE OF SIMILIAR OR EVEN BETTER QUALITY TO SEE THAT IT COSTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF $30 TO $4O MAX.  AS PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED, A LONG TIME CUSTOMER .. NATURALLY COMES TO ENLIGHTENMENT THAT CUSTOMERS CAN GET 3 LINES OR 4 FOR $100 A MONTH..

CALLED T-MOBILE AND BLOWN OFF BECAUSE I WAS CLASSIFIED AS AN EXCLUSIVE GRANDFATHERED CUSTOMER AND THAT THESE OFFERS WERE NOT INCLUSIVE OF THE SERVICES I CURRENTLY HAD WITH THE COMPANY.. IE.. DATA.. LIMITATIONS AS I WAS THE CUSTOMER WHO HAD UNLIMITED EVERYTHING.. . EVERYTHING???? 

OKAY AND BESIDES THAT .. SHOULD I CHOOSE TO 'SWITCH PROVIDERS' I'D BE BILLED $225 FOR THE TOWER BOOSTER THAT AT THAT POINT WAS LOST.  SO I STAYED WITH THIS COMPANY.  ON OCCASION, WHEN THE BUDGET WAS EXCRUCINGLATELY TIGHT, I'D GO ON LINE AND PAY HALF AND REQUEST AN EXTENSION (WHICH, IF IT COUNTS, I'D PAY BEFORE THE DESIGNATED ALLOTED DATE ON THAT SAID EXENTION) ..  as it were, I'd see competitor companies offering 4 lines for $100 unlimited data etc etc.. and here I was paying $134 for two lines with same service features.   so we move forward, and again at one point after losing my employment, needed to do another payment arrangement.  it was successfully accepted because why? 

a long time loyal customer who never lets the service go unpaid .  well, this time around, i logged in and discovered I was being charged a late fee or the payment arrangement.. i called customer service and told this is the policy.. it was never a 'policy' or issue in the previous times this allowance was authorized so for me, this was the last straw.. I started researching and was sold on sprint telling me that for 3 lines i could get their services for the same price I was paying for 2 lines with t-mobile.  so I switched.   I ported out two phone numbers from tmobile on november 14, 2018 .. i get my final bill from t-mobile that about shocked me into the following Tuesday!

They were literally charging me $770 and change!  .. UPON INQUIRING ABOUT THIS 'FINAL BILL' TOLD THAT SUPPOSEDLY MY IPHONE 6 WAS NOT PAID OFF.. (IT WAS BECAUSE I UPGRADED TO THE IPHONE SE WHICH I KNOW IS AN IPHONE 5 BUT STILL, I DID THIS, I'D NOT HAVE UPGRADED UNLESS MY CURRENT DEVICE WAS ALREADY PAID.  I WAS BILLED THROUGH DECEMBER 2ND ALBEIT PORTED MY NUMBERS NOVEMBER 14TH. 

HOWEVER, UP TIL NOVEMBER WAS PAID UP.. NOW OKAY $134 AND CHANGE FOR THE ENTIRE MONTH OF NOVEMBER IS WHAT I WOULD HAVE PAID.   WHY AM I GETTING A FINAL BILL OF OVER $700 /  ?   WELL MY ACCOUNT WAS TURNED OVER TO A COLLECTION AGENCY. i WAS UNABLE TO LOG INTO MY T-MOBILE ACCOUNT AND THERE STARTED MY GOOGLE SEARCHES FOR EMAIL ADDRESSES FOR SOMEONE AT T-MOBILE THAT I COULD REACH OUT TO. 

A VERY NICE REP EMAILED ME WITH ATTACHMENTS AFTER HER RESEARCHING MY ACCOUNT AND THEN SENT ME A FINAL BILL FOR $440... WHICH WOULD EXPLAIN.. ONLY A PORTION OF THE REDUCTION.  HOWEVER, UPON REPLYING TO THIS T-MOBILE REP WAS INFORMED THAT THE REVISED FINAL BILL WAS UPWARDS OF $770 AGAIN, AND NOW ANOTHER $99 ADDED ON TOP FOR THEIR COLLECTION COMPANY SERVICE FEES. 

THE REP FURTHER WENT INTO DETAILING THIS FINAL BILL AND STATED THAT MY DEVICE WAS NOT PAID OFF (YES IT WAS) AND THAT THE CELL TOWER BOOSTER COST IS $325.   NOW i WENT ON EBAY AND THESE DEVICES EXACTLY SIMILIAR TO WHAT WAS SENT SOME YEARS BACK WERE ABOUT $30.    BLOWN AWAY AT THE OVER-THE-TOP FINAL BILL WHEN I ONLY OWED ONE MONTH AND A DEVICE THAT I WAS NEVER TOLD I'D BE CHARGED WITH, NO CONTRACT NO SIGNATURE INTO AN AGREEMENT BY MYSELF, TO BE SUCH AN EXPENSIVE BILLING DEMAND, I COULDNT HELP BUT QUESTION OR DISPUTE. 

I EMAILED THE REP ASKING FOR THE SPECIFIC MODEL OF THIS TOWER BOOSTER BECAUSE IF I CAN GET THE SAME ITEM FOR $30 WHY WOULD I FORK OVER $300 FOR THIS?  NOBODY WOULD.  I NEVER GOT A RESPONSE.   I ALSO PAID OFF MY PHONE, SO THEY ARE DECEPTIVELY CHARGING ME HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS WHEN AT THE MOST i'D OWE IS $134 AND CHANGE FOR 14 DAYS OF USE WITH THIS COMPANY BEFORE SWITCHING PROVIDERS !     HOW GOD AWFUL IS THIS COMPANY !   I AM BEING CHEATED AND DECEIVED AND THEY ARE CROOKS.
