Moved to town February 2008 and bought a new brand of Aurvedic herbal medical called Age Aurvedics. The formula appeared to be a detox / cleansing formula. The result was the collapse of my blood pressure, vomiting, fainting, confusion, disorientation, inability to walk and a trip to the hospital in intensive care for 3 days. Thanks to the incompetency of the doctors at the hospital they treated me for everything unrelated to the poisoning and lead me to think the herb had nothing to do with it. So, guess what, 2 days after getting home I take the herb to cleanse out the effect of the d**n hospital and boom I'm back in intensive care in a more life threatening state than the first time.
Since then I have noticed that the product is no longer on the shelves. When I looked up the inexpedience and found it is a form of Oleander. I suspect that Age Aurvedics used the wrong oleander in the batch and may have killed people with this formula. All oleanders are poisonous but the one listed in Latin is used in herbal medicine. Either it was an unusually strong plant or it was the wrong plant.
