Tech Boys offer below retail prices and heavily advertis on Instagram for all Apple products in general. Everything from MacBook Air, iPads to the latest iPhone 6 and 6+. They encourage you to directly message them to discuss prices. After the terms are negotiated they will give you a host of payment options from Western Union, Moneygram and or PayPaL. I opted for PayPal as it's the easiest for me. They sold me two 128g iPads for $400; 1 gold and 1 space grey. I paid and the items were to be sent in two to three business days. Typically in PayPal there are two payment options, one for goods and services or one for Friends and Family.
By opting to do friends and family they say you will get your items faster as opposed to 21 days to process in the traditional fashion. if you press for a delivery confirmation they will go radio silent. After the delivery date passed and albeit I have them an additional 48hrs to make good I was blocked and prevented from contacting them on Instagram and making this a public spectacle. I did what any law abiding citizen contacted them via email and alerted them ignored didn't rectify this situation I would handle this litigiously. So I will be filing Police reports in both cities and counties at this point I either want the goods or my money back.
After searching the the internet and Instagram, I've realized this is a pattern of theirs. So of they scam 10 people a day on an average of $300 * 30 days out of every month they will have a million dollar business on their hands of items below a criminal complaint because the prices are $500 and below for a single transaction. Pretty slick if you ask me. so much for trying to save a few bucks. Help me STOP these criminals before they hurt someone else

i saw your report while also trying to research who the Instagram page belongs to. I am the real owner of the the tech boys company in Sayville NY. There is another company by the same name in Michigan that has been dealing with this issue for the past few months. My location was just added to their Instagram page I'm guessing to create a sense of trust to the consumers they are misleading and ripping off. Myself and the company In michigan have anything to do with these scammers. Apparently they have stolen pictures from the company in Michigan and created this page for the sole purpose of tricking people into sending them money and then not sending any devices. We have tried contacting Instagram and the authorities but nothing has happened yet to resolve it. Tons of people have been ripped off by these guys already and I'm at a loss as to how to stop them from doing it and also tarnishing my company name as well. It's Horrible that people like this are out there. And using real company information to trick someone is low. If anyone has any information further please feel free to contact me.
