This merchant is a complete scam artist.  I placed my order for software on January 6.  Even though his website specifically states that he will not charge the credit card until it's within 24 hours of shipment, the credit card was charged immediately, the same day the order was placed.   After several days of seeing my order sitting in "pending" status, I tried to contact this merchant.  Even though this was the second week of January, his voice mail indicated that it was the week of December 28th, his office was closed for the holidays and he'd reopen on January 4.  Then, the message indicates that if you'd like to leave a message, you're to hit 1,1 on a touch tone phone to get to his voice mail.  However, one soon discovers that his voice mail box is full!      I started researching this merchant further and soon discovered that his rating on the Better Business Bureau was slipping as more complaints were coming in and then ran across the two reports already filed against this merchant last summer on this website.  On January 13th I sent an email to this merchant to both of his email addresses and requested that my order be canceled (it was still sitting in pending status).  After receiving no reply, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and did a reverse look up on his phone number and address to locate other businesses in his building.  I soon learned that his office is in disarray, mail has been stuffed under his door for weeks, and no one has seen him.  Much to my surprise, I received an email that my order had shipped and it arrived via Fedex on January 23.  I spoke to my credit card company because I didn't want the software from this merchant, had attempted to cancel the order, and asked them what they would suggest as next steps.  They recommended that I return the product, unopened, via a carrier in which I could track the order and request a signature.  I have done just that, and just as I suspected, Fedex attempted to deliver the package daily for four business days before giving up.  They are in the process of returning the package to me.      What folks should know is that this merchant lies about his policies on his website, and when and if he finally ships the product, his return policy indicates that customers are supposed to contact him for an RMA, and get the product back to him, unopened within thirty days of the order date.   So this guy waits for two to three weeks to ship the product, does not respond to emails and prevents customers from leaving voice mail messages and expects customers to get unopened products back to him within thirty days of the order date?     I also spoke to another unhappy customer who managed to finally get his product only to receive the wrong product.  In addition, he contacted Adobe only to learn that this merchant had already registered the license for this customer's software in his (the merchant's) name!     Please do not make the mistake that some of us have made.  I gave this merchant the benefit of the doubt when first looking him up on the Better Business Bureau because when researching him in early January, his rating was a D because the BBB was unable to conduct a background check on him.   In addition, he'd only had four complaints in 36 months.  Well, I soon learned that his business is fairly new and hasn't been open for 36 months which is why there weren't that many complaints and why the BBB hadn't finished a background check on this guy yet.  Order from this guy at your own risk.  He will not respond to any emails you send him and he does not ever answer the phone, and his voice mail box is always full.  If you get lucky enough to actually get product from him, it'll either be the wrong product, or it will already be registered under his name.

This Company is not the Company described in the Advertisement on Google

My company is TechValueDirect.com NOT TechDeckDirect.com.  I have never heard of/ or know what TechDeckDirect.com is.  It looks like something that was open two years ago or so.  We have been open almost two years and have no relation to TechDeckDirect.com.  The Advertisement reads (18009742608 = unreachable)  This number is TechValueDirect's number, NOT TechDeckDirect's.  I cannot even find the TechDeckDirect.com website or a phone number for that company.

Thank you,

Melony

I ordered from them in February.

I placed my order on February 3, 2010, and received my product within like 4 days.  It came to me in a DVD case so I was a little worried.  I called them a few times but no one picked up so I called Adobe to register the serial number and had no problems.

Their customer service sucked, but after calling Adobe and experiencing their customer service...I would say they are maintaining the same reputation in the 'customer service' side.

I paid $488.00 for my product, which is basically at a liquidation price from Adobe.  I received a legitimate product that I was able to physically register with Adobe.  I guess you get what you pay for.  I can't complain about the lack of customer service when I'm not paying the full $1600.00 for the product.  Let's be real.

Just my opinion.
