At first, when I called this outfit, they said they had a private office suite with a window available for $900 so I made an appointment with Josie Graziosi to see their offices.

I arrived sometime early afternoon Friday April 16, 2010. Josie Graziosi was not available to show me the offices, instead Lindsay Miles showed me their offices.

I just wanted to get an idea of what was available, so she showed me everything from shared offices to a private office.

Their shared office for $225 is really crappy by the way. It's just a cubicle and you are sharing a dark room with potentially 4 other people.

There semi private office is a bit better for $350 and you share with only one other person.

Lindsay Miles showed me the private office, which I was told on the phone was $900, it had suddenly gone up to $1200 per month. I asked Lindsay about this and she said she didn't think it was available. (Real professional - you should know what's available and what's not.) She also told me their company was quite flexible and I could "negotiate" month to month or a lease.

After thinking it over, later that afternoon I called Josie Grazios and told her I'd like to go ahead with the semi-private office to start on a month to month basis. She told me we don't normally do this, but that it would be ok for the first month. I explained to her I'd like to see how the business goes before committing to a lease. She agreed with this and once again told me the company was flexible. We made an appointment for me to come in Monday April 19 1:00pm to finalize everything.

Monday morning 9:21am I received a message on my voice mail from Lindsay Miles that I could not go month to month, that I would have to sign a one year lease, pay first and last plus a deposit plus any installation fees, BUT THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ANYTHING AVAILABLE AT THE MOMENT!

This company is totally unprofessional and has wasted my time. This scam business should be put out of business.

A Misunderstanding due to new employee

AUTHOR: Telsec Business Centres Inc - ()

POSTED: Monday, July 15, 2013

This report was only recently brought to our attention, we were not aware of it at the time it was posted three years ago. Had we been informed of its existence when it was first published, we would have addressed the issue then.

Telsec never had any intent to falsely mislead or try to bait and switch a prospect. The entire situation came about due to a new employee that had just started at the time.  Unfortunately, she was not completely clear on the variety of office rental options Telsec offers and the flexible lease terms and rates.  Office availability, the variety of different rental options and services, as well as the specific charges for these are provided to all sales staff on a regular basis. Telsec apologizes for any confusion that has occurred.
