Its been a few years since I dealt with or heard from Anthony W. Brown or the Brown Group of California LLC. He took a lot of money from me and promised many things. We had contracts drawn up and he did not live up to any of them. He did have, what I believe to be a legitimate funding company for his project - ZipTree.
Anthony said he was starting a hedge fund. He said he ran out of money to finalize all the legal and accounting aspects of the process and needed me to help him out. I did help him, but not with everything he wanted. I would receive updates as to what was going on but he continually requested more funds and I would not do it until some of the funds were repaid.
He eventually disconnected his phones and email. So I had no way of getting a hold of him.

I believe we are also victims of Anthony Brown. I decided to google him and came across these reporrts. These stories/situations are very familar. Has anyone had any more current run ins with Anthony? Are there any current or closed court cases or warrants for his arrest? Any information would be helpful.

Currently he is operating as 'Peranikin Capital' and also as 'The Brown Capital Group'.
He is working very hard to put together funding; usually requiring people to pay an 'advance fee' directly into his bank account before he will make a loan to them. He might even be shooting a bit higher these days using an associate to procure some major loan for himself. Wish someone would look into this.
