I took my mini computer to "the computer man" to up grade it. when he did he took off numerous things that I had on there and that I wanted to keep.
I called him to tell him, he said to bring it back and he would add them. Then he wanted to charge more money for things that were not needed. The computer I had was brand new. After he worked on it it crashed and could not be repaired. He is the type to nickel and dime you to death.
I have had a couple of friends who took their computer to him and he screwed theirs up too. They also had to go back to him to add things he took of their computer. And proceeded to nickel and dime them to death.
In fact he was suppose to send a check to one of the people I sent to him. He stated several times how the check was in the mail...I called him and he said nothing at first then said she can come by and get cash. Which tells me , he did not send the check.

This will be my final post as there seems to be no resolution by ranting back and forth. As to your previous professional position, it does not sway my judgment in any way, and I would expect a little more professionalism on your end considering your previous professional position. Let me explain in more of a legal sense I do not recall you contacting me within the first 24 hours of you receiving your computer, after the first 24 hours, you could have done something unintentionally to the computer. As a Deputy, you would know that if there was something wrong with the computer, and you believe that it was because of bad business practices, the last thing you should have done was throw it away, it would be considered evidence. Without the evidence, everything becomes hear say. Instead of handling the situation in a professional matter, you chose to smear my business name on a non-reputable website, which is a fine line between slander, and every conversation posted on the website has been saved and printed for possible future court cases. It is 100% your choice to take this to court, but keep in mind the expenses it would take to get this case in front of a judge travel, filing a petition, lawyer fees, filing fees, court costsby the time that you get in front of a judge, you could have bought yourself 2 computers or more. But please dont let this stop you from doing so, in fact, I encourage you to do so if you feel that you have been wronged. In fact, I am surprised that you have not done this a long time ago. My offer will always stand as to repairing the old computer for free, but you made it obvious that it is impossible to do because you chose to throw it away. There is really nothing more to say, and there is no need to go round and round, I dont want to waste anymore of our time. Happy Thanksgiving.
Also as a show of my good will and good intentions to resolve this issue anyone who brings in a printed copy of this report at the time of repair will receive 10% off the total repair bill. I have nothing to hide and I think that I have dealt with this situation to the best of my ability. I hope after reading the posts you agree.

I am a retired deputy sheriff out of Palm Beach, Fl. I have done everything descent and possible that could be done to get this resolved. The person I have as a witness, who was with me at your place of business, told me she had spoken to you after you had spoken to me.
After she had repeated basically everything I had told you, you acted as if you were surprised. How could you have been surprised? You already knew the information.

As I have told you in the past after I returned to Fla. I had to throw the mini away. Now you knew this before you made the statement that I could send it to you and you would fix it. I can see your business practices are and have been in question. I also know of others who have had unprofessional practice dealings with you.
It is apparent you are not going to resolve the situation. After spending over 400.00 to you. I felt buying me a mini for 249.00 was more than fair. Unless of course you want to reimburse me the entire amount? It is also apparent I need to take this further in other areas.
Remember what comes around goes around. That's why it pays to be honest and above board with your customers. I will be in touch.

your only intention is to get a new laptop for nothing

I am truly sorry for your troubles, and I have made every kind of effort to make this situation right, but it seems that your sole intention is to smear my business name which is on the verge of slander. I have said repeatedly to bring the mini laptop to my store, and I will fix any issues for FREE. There is not a company in the entire U.S. that would buy you a new laptop without looking at the old one first. By you ignoring my request to fix any existing issues for free and demanding a new laptop portrays that your only intention is to get a new laptop for nothing.
I am not a nickel & dime, fly by night company, my company has been established for many years, I have a vast amount of great references, and out of all of that and the many years of service, you seem to be the only majorly disgruntled customer and that seems to be unfortunate. I have absolutely no existing pending cases against me as to bad business practices, however, please feel free to file a case against me, the judge will see all previous excerpts and notice the multiple attempts by myself to justly resolve this issue. My offer stands firm, bring the laptop in, and I will fix the issues that you have for free. Thanks, and have a nice day.

I feel the best way to resolve this situation is by you buying a HP 10" netbook #@3731co @ $249.00. Then sending it to me. If you find that this will not resolve the situation on your part, please let me know...

First of all my computer was not broken when I took it in to you. Contrary to what you say, remember I have a witness, that was with me. After you installed certain things on my computer, you had removed numerous things, that should not have been removed. I then had to take it back to you to put certain things back on.
After I got back to Fla., I did allow you to go on my computer using a program you have. After that was completed I turned off the unit. Later turning it on and nothing came on, it crashed. I have paid you for all the work you did. I am not the only one who you have used using poor business practices. I have no problem being pleased with someone who had good business practices.
However there is always businesses out there who do their best to want to get paid, and paid and paid even though the work was not satisfactory. Have you been to court yet with the case that is against you, in regards to poor business practices?

I would first like to say sorry for your troubles. Then I would also go on to say that if at any time someone feels that either the services were not rendered or that i screwed up their computer entirely I would ask them to bring it back to me so I could fix it. We pride ourselves on our relationships with our customers. I would also like to say it was broke when you brought it and fixed when you left. I make all customers verify that their computer is in working condition BEFORE they leave and if their was any concern I should have herd about it then. Also we don't make you pay up front if your computer was still broke or items were missing as you say then why did you pay for it? Oh and the nickel and dime part I do suggest that you put anti virus on your computer I guess that is not needed in your opinion or I suggest that you use my free backup service but I guess that was not needed either. Plain and simple there are some people that just can't be satisfied you know the type the people who alwase look for the easy way out and someone else to blame I would ask that anyone who reads this to call me and ask about it and also to ask to see my binder of recommendations. And most importantly to consider the source. I have been in business for years and you can't do that scamming people.
