Below it the mail I sent to the company, without any form of response. However sent this mail, the site states that the clothing varies. I have sent numerous emails for the reimbursement (either monetary or send the clothes) of the items I didnot receive, again the company has refuse to response.
"Further to the below email, a quick check to your site indicates that I didnot receive all the clothes shown either. Missing from my lot of clothes is the jean pants; green floral jacket; pink ruffle shirt and pink shrug. DISAPPOINTED! DISAPPOINTED! DISAPOINTED! AND ANGRY TO BE DUPE BY DOLL MARKET...
Dear Doll Market,
It is with great disappointment that I am writing. I have just receive the above mentioned order today from my relative and was sadden by the contents. First let me state, that though the order was shipped to an US address it was always intended to come to Barbados. The US address was used to reduce cost and with my relative coming home for the holiday season I knew I would receive it in time to make it for its intended purpose...a Christmas gift. With that being said, I will explain my grievances with the purchase. The purchase of the Lori doll play set was not because of it being the least expensive of the four dolls by Tonner, but really because of the uniqueness of the doll. Initially the Murphy doll set was first choice, however after much consideration the Lori doll set was purchase because:
1. The selection of clothes shown- when I had query whether I got order the Murphy doll with the selection of clothes for the Lori doll set I was told by customer rep, the doll comes with the choices of clothes seen on the website. Since I like the clothes of Lori this put her ahead of Murphy.
2. Rooted hair- I also inquired whether Lori's hair was wigged or rooted hair.. I was told rooted by a doll market representative. Since Murphy's hair was cover by a cap and therefore could not see the true beauty of her hair I opted again in favour of Lori.
The price of Lori doll was just added bonus for me, however on receiving the doll today I am very upset that:
1. I did not receive the selection as advertise by your site for the Lori play set and further no-where does it states that Doll Market reserves the right to interchange select of the clothes. If this information had been share it would have greatly influence my decision when I made my purchase. I have no objection in paying a premium for something I want but I do expect to receive what I paid for, especially when it is one of my primary reason for wanted the item in this instance I did not receive what I paid for.
2. My secondary reason for purchase was not satisfied, as Lori hair is in fact a wig/weave method and not at all rooted. In addition when the hair is move away from the forehead, there is an obscene red line along the hair line which I suspect is the glue use to attached the hair. Again disappointment.
3. Though doll market did not state this, research on Tonner dolls led me to conclude that the doll were of high quality. Though this may be high quality, the hard vinyl used to make this doll is not suitable for children, but more for a doll collector. Had I known this fact I would not have purchased this doll at all and I am very upset that on doll market site this type doll is categorized as a "play doll".
Doll Market I do not care to conduct business with companies who falsely or inadequately advertised their merchandise, because of your company advertising items( the clothes selection I did not receive) and not mentioning information(I may not receive the chosen clothes or omitting the material of the doll). I made a very unsound purchase and investment because US100.00 is Bds200.00 for item that will only be left in my closet to collect dust. I feel swindle by you Doll Market and will not conduct any future business with you "

I contacted the company by the phone number left on the rebuttal, so Thanks ripoffreport, I finally got a response.
When speaking to Linda, I acknowlege the invoice is 2mth old, but as stated in the letter I shipped a US address in order to reduce cost to me. The package was always intended for Barbados, which unfortunately I received two month later. Again I outline my grievances and Linda explain how the company counts the 18 clothing.
Though I donot agree I appreciate the explanation of the company's counting system, however I received then 17tops and one bottom(pink skirt). I feels this is not appropriate mix, as at least three bottoms are needed to make more than one outfit.
Linda has made a note to leave with management... I will keep provide update.
As for the red mark, Linda recommended a product to remove the red line along the dolls hair line.

We have been trying to resolve this problem. This is an item with accessories that retailed for over $250. The purchase price was $79.97 for a clearance item. It states on the invoice if you have a problem call us 336.632.4600. We returned the $10 shipping charges when she received the order in October. Customer had no complaints.
Starting last week we received emails from this individual. The order is suddenly incorrect 2 months later?
In response to the massive flood of the identical emails to numerous email accounts in our organization, we have responded with "If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact us at (800) 432-3655."
Sincerely,
The Doll Market
