I was sent to Entrust through 2 investments in real estate funds.
After a few years I wanted to liquidate and close the IRA.
Entrust has been an obstacle for years:
1. They provide no service, consultation, communications, timely close of transactions.
2. They charge arbitrary fees for this lack of service.
3. They took all dividends from the assets.
4. They present obstacles to liquidation and closing of the IRA account.
5. They are currently holding my funds hostage until I pay them an additional $1110.00 for "services".
I have written Sacramento Commission on Business Oversight and want to file a formal SEC complaint.
To date, I still have not received any liquidated funds and cannot close this IRA account.

I do indeed have an account and cannot liquidate my funds. The Entrust Group has placed obstacles in liquidating and increased their 'fees' to ensure that I will not get much back.
Their defense is lame, useless and much in line with the responses I have received for the many years they have held my funds-- a disavowal of responsibility and accountability.

After reviewing this posting, The Entrust Group has determined that the claim is without merit and is believed to not be a client. We have reviewed our account records in an attempt to identify any client whose circumstances might match these and have found none. The dollar amount that was reportedly assessed ($1,100) is exceptionally high for our services and would be extremely unusual; a fee this high would easily standout in our records. In addition, keeping “dividends” from real estate is not something that we practice.
What we find of concern is the same day the posting was made; a third-party service notified us that our organization was found on Ripoff Report, and offered to work with the online forum to remove the posting. We in turn contacted Ripoff Report and were informed that postings are never removed by Ripoff Report, therefore the service offered by the third party on the same day the posting went up is very suspicious. While we highly value the forum that Ripoff Report provides, we do believe that this posting is falsified and provides an inaccurate description of our company.
The Entrust Group prides itself on our personal client service and integrity in all interactions. We also strive to educate our clients on best practices in self-directed investing.
