The Grant People Stole $1,500 from me! Las Vegas Nevada

First of all I just want to say how hard it was for me to read the other reports filed on here about the Grant People. It just makes me so mad to see this happen to so many others. The Grant People stole $1,500 from me. I started the project in June 2007 in hopes of started my home based graphics/printing business. I was asking for a $170,000 grant.

I was extremely skeptical of them but realized that this could be a chance of a lifetime to fullfill my dream of owning my own business. So I went for it. The process went smooth and professional at first. They were calling me, telling me how the process would go and the next step and people there would follow up with me. Then one day someone called and said "We have your grant". From there they told me I had to file the proper paper work in order for it to go through and that they would need another $9,000 from me within 10 days or else my money and Grant would be gone!! So I immediatley filed reports on BBB and the Las Vegas Attorney General.

Once the Grant People found out I had calls flooding in to me from them saying it was a misunderstanding. And I needed to withdrawl my complaints and that they would proceed, no more money asked. I agreed and I then signed a new contract from them saying they would proceed and gaurantee me a Grant, no more money asked. Well as months go by, I received two reports via mail saying they had sent out my request to many companies. The last I heard from them was in November 2007. I've tried contacting them since and they don't respond and I see that they no longer have a website.

I quickly learned not to talk to them on phone because they just disputed what I said everytime. So I ALWAYS emailed them, and I've saved every email and every piece of information and contacts that I've had with them because I had a feeling this would happen.

I just want my MONEY BACK! I think there is enough people on here for us all to do that!
