The Price Pros at Amazon.com looked like a great place to do business. I placed my order for a VGA to HDMI Converter and the item arrived 3 days later than scheduled (no problem). I then tested the hardware out and to my surprise, the item was defective... it did not work at all... again, no problem. So, I contacted price pros and they said that they could not refund or replace the item until they got it back to their shop. I asked for the delivery address and they said that they would need to send me a return shipping label and that it would arrive within 24 to 48 hours.
Here we go...
3 days later ... no return shipping label. I wrote the price pros again and they said that they would send it out shortly. Long story short, I have been in contact (10 emails later every other day) with the price pros from amazon.com for 3 weeks and they still have not sent the label, nor will they give me an address to mail the item back to them. Add to that, they will not consider a refund until they receive the item. In other words, they simply ripped me off, scammed me and it doesn't look like the price pros are doing anything to help or resolve the matter in any way.
I am very careful to never write negative reviews on any company unless I feel I have been treated Very poorly. Then, I feel it is my obligation to the consumer to ensure something like this doesn't happen to them.
In the end, I feel that the price pros do have competitive prices, but if you need any help from their customer support, or expect to get refunded for a defective item, you can more than likely forget about it. The product was only around $100 but I sure wouldn't want others to lose out on that like I did.
