The SAT And ACT Prep Center, Inc. Sleazy Back Alley Rip Off Company Cedar Hill Texas

About a week after my daughter took the PSAT test, we were contacted by a company called 'The SAT and ACT Prep Center, Inc' located in Cedar Hill, TX.

They offered to sell us a CD based test prep kit for $119.99 with a full money back guarantee, including return shipping if not fully delighted.

They continued on to say that we had a full 30 days to use the software to make sure it was right for our daughter, with NO obligation.

Once the package arrived, 15 days later, we had second thoughts, and decided not to open the software. It's a good thing we didn't because in the package was a small note that stated, "If the software is opened, 'NO REFUNDS'will be given. How did they expect us to use the software for 30 days if you are not allowed to open it?

In addition, on the note it states that if you log into their website, you automatically agree to be billed $49.99 a month, on a recurring basis! That little fact they left OUT of the telephone sales pitch.

As for returning the software, which we promptly did, (at my own expense), the nightmare of getting a refund began. It took at least 12 phone calls and opening a dispute with my credit card company to finally get my refund.

This company is worst sleazy back room rip off I have ever encountered.

I plan to contact the State Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau, so that no one else has to go through this aggravation.
