The Work Number allows companies to sign up that do not use the work number as a service. So the employer tells you they use the work number and the work number goes to "verify employment", then the company says we only do verifications via email. Meanwhile we are out $40 for processing the order that returns no results. The point of the work number is to get verifications, not get charged for no data.
