I haven't resolved my situation yet, but I have gotten off to a good start. I just recently got involved with this scam, and used a credit card via my fax machine. When I didn't get the business pak promised last week, and only received a letter something told me I should check them out.
Well, I can say I'm definitely not alone in this nightmare. I called my credit card company and told them what was going on and demanded that they reverse the charge, as I had not received what I had ordered or paid for. (I also paid the extra $10.00 for fast delivery.) I also cancelled my credit card and explained I was concerned that based on the reports I had read about this company from other unsuspecting people "Taken by Zaken" he was not going to have access to my credit card for anything he felt entitled to that he had no intentions of fulfilling.
My credit card company has issued a temporary credit, pending an investigation. However, I don't believe they will ever reach anyone on the contact number listed beside the charge on my bill,as I tried numerous times-the line is always busy.
I then prepared a letter to the company,and all individuals names I was provided in the letter. (Nim Hen, Sales Manager, Netta Levran, Assistant placing them on notice of my actions and demanding they issue a credit to my card.
I will keep you up to date on what transpires from this point on. I don't know if what I have done will work, but perhaps anyone else who has recently responded to this most recent mailing will be able to reverse their mistake in a timely fashion.
I wish you all luck. One suggestion I have is that everyone send this link to everyone who emails you a business opportunity via the internet. Those who are looking for legitimate offers can check this site out, those who are perpetuating fraud will know this site exists. We will all be better informed because of it.

I received the credit from ZAKEN on my credit card on 12/12/02. I think the only way I accomplished this was because I contacted my credit card immediately and also refused delivery of the business pak when UPS tried to drop it off. If anyone else finds themselves in this situation you just might get your money back, before it is too late. I wish you all luck.

The Rock of course was ordering the business pack and authorizing the use of my credit card. The Hard Place was not checking these crooks out before I did. However, when you are in this situation and your guts tell you something isn't right, act quickly as I did.
I contacted my credit card company on 12/10 to get an update. They informed me that in their initial contact with Zaken the company provided the UPS tracking number for the package sent. I informed them that I refused delivery of the package from UPS, and that I had determined based on the information I had obtained, this was not something I wanted to get involved with.
They said they would continue to investigate, but that the temporary credit was still just that, temporary.
Yesterday 12/17 I received a communication from Zaken and I wish you could all see it, but I will relay what it says.
TRANSACTION ADMINISTRATION-YOUR RETURN FOR $174.00 HAS BEEN INSERTED INTO THE BATCH DATABASE. It then lists the ID #, my name and several digits from my credit card no. The sheet was printed out from software called PLUG'N PAY.
Today, I intend to call my credit card company and find out if the credit has actually been issued to my account, because for one thing I don't trust these people, and this could just be an attempt to stall, but to let my credit card company think they are actually doing something.
In addition, about a week ago I emailed BILL O'REILLY at Fox News and gave him a brief explanation about ZAKEN and his RIP-OFF and asked for his help. I gave him the link to this site so he or his researchers could get a handle on this situation. I don't know if he has or will look into this, but if enough of us contact him perhaps he will. If anyone can bring this crook to his knees, O'REILLY can. He's my hero!!! It's worth a try, and probably better than writing all the beaurocrats you have contacted so far.
I'll keep you posted on the results I get from my credit card company.
