I was searching onlien for grant information, and came across this company. They offered a free information disc for shipping only ($1.98).

Three days later, I received a phone call from this company purporting to verify my request, and they asked if I had indeed requested the information CD, to which I replied "Yes"

Then they attempted to sell me some additional service. I said "no thanks".

A week later, I noticed a pending transaction from the grant company in the amount of $69.95.
