I was sold a "high visibility" auto sale package on an electronic bidding website. I was high pressured by their salesman, Kieth Perry, to hurry up and place my add and told that the service's success rate was 30-90 days sale "for sure". He made constant calls to me urging me to sign up and that the car would soon be sold. I eventually succumbed and paid the $299 which I observed was their standard package price despite their claim it was "discounted".
After the add went up I received no leads from it. I had placed the same add in Hemmings and sold the car via that add.
Trader Network is a total ripoff using hi pressure telemarketing to grind you down. If they contact you...hang up immediately.

After discussions between the vendor and myself it is agreed that there was a miss-communication as to the expected price and service provided. It is agreed between us that if the remarks are corrected that a price adjustment would be made by the vendor and brought in line with my expectation for the service I thought I had purchased. Ripoff does not provide for alteration or removal of the original report and limits the format of the Update/rebuttal submission: with those limitations in place I withdraw my comments. One of the stipulations of the vendor were that the comments be removed as a condition to finalizing the credit. Given that removal is not possible, it remains to be seen if the vendor will honor the spirit of this post.
