Thred Up is a total SCAM!!

Let me tell you about my experience!! You must get enlightened before using them!

#1. It is difficult to contact them and they make it that way so they don't have to wast time speaking with you because I am pretty sure they get a lot of complaints.

I finally got in touch and had them send me a large ( the biggest one they have) bag and then I went about gathering things such as a brand new pair of Nurse Mates Shoes which were still in the box and never worn, I paid over $77.00 for them. I also sent them a new coat, two new tops still with the tags on them, they were obviously never worn as well as other things that I really can't recall, but I would say several hundrend dollars worth of stuff.

After a long while, I started getting emails saying, "you sold an item". Time and time again I would get the same email stating, "you sold another item".

When I looked at my account all I had to my credit was $16.00, Are you kidding me right now! Yes that is a true story.

I did email or contact them via Face Book, remember,  they really don't want to speak with anyone and make contacting them nearly impossible, questioned why I only had $16.00 and they came back with, "you had to pay $8.00 in shipping" and they also said I could go on their web site which is very difficult to find info on and look up items if I wanted to know how much things were going to sell for.

Really now, I also explained to them that my daughter had sent a whole bag of stuff which she never heard from them again, they were unable to explain this.

Thred Up went on to say I could get my $16.00 via pay pal or a Visa Card, I chose Visa Card as I didn't want to share a % of my whopping $16.00 with pay pal so I opted for the Visa Card which I have yet to receive!

This place is a total RIP OFF!! I wouldn't recommed it to anyone unless you like being ripped off!!
