I got a flat tire and went to Tire Works and purchased two Continental run flat tires for $1000.  a month lalter got a flat on one of these tires.  I was told my the manager they did not have this tire in stock so I had to purchase two rear 19" Toyo tires.  I also purchased the $40 per tire protection plan altogether totaling $700.  They also replaced my chrome value caps with plastic ones.  When I noticed, I went back to the manager and was told he didn't know what happened to the originals so had to replace.  I also realized my tire locks were missing, therefore driving around without them, placing me in danger and the danger of others. When I called the manager he said they had to break them off and were unable to replace them.  A few weeks ago, I go another flat with one of the replacement tires after purchasing them only five months prior.  I went to another Tireworks location and again the did not have the tire in stock and could not, did not honor the protection plan.  I had to go to the dealer where I purchased my car and had them replaced.  Altogether I spent $3600 at tireworks.  I sent an email to their corporate office and they are completely ignoring me.

False Information

AUTHOR: Jeanne Anne Weir - ()

POSTED: Friday, September 13, 2013

Regarding the customer's statements about Tire Works not responding is not true.  A called was placed to this customer who did not answer, a message was left to call back to the corporate office which did not take place.

The customer came in regarding a tire issue, while the tire was being taken care of an inspection of the customer's vehicle was being completed.  The power steering pump was leaking.  We notified the customer who did not want any repairs made on the vehicle.  We requested to show the customer where it was leaking and they did not want to see it.

The customer was offered the opportunitiy to fill out a credit application which allows no interest for six months, the customer declined stating that they did not have the money to pay for such repairs.

After the tire change was made the customer paid for their services and left the store.

The customer came in the next day later stating we damaged their power steering pump.  We told the cusomter that we  notified her that her pump was leaking at the time of inspection and we could not replace this part for free.

We cannot be held responsible for repairs that we already notified the customer about.
