BEWARE OF CHASE PRIVACY GUARD SCAM. I noticed 9 months ago a charge for 11.99 a month on my chase credit card, so I immediately called Chase credit card company to see what the charge was for. The representative stated that I apparently enrolled in some kind of privacy guard service. I do not recall ever apply for such service and immediately told the representative to take care of it. She told me that everything was taken care of and that I would not be charged any additional fees for the service.

Since this time I have not been paying attention to my online statements and recently noticed again that my account was being charged 11.99 a month. Not only was I livid but frustrated by how poorly these representatives handle this situation. The woman that I spoke to did not provide me with any cancellation number, and I didn't bother asking for one, I just assumed that it would be taken care of.

For over 9 months now I have been charged 11.99 a month for a service I have never even agreed to. When I called again today to complain about the charges, the supervisor was extremely rude to me and stated that many customers are happy with this service.

I find that hard to believe, especially given how many individuals have written online to complain about this scam. The company is now stating that they refuse to refund my money back. Beware, and always ask for a cancellation number, however I doubt that even that will be of any help or even a REAL number!
