Buyer Beware. This has been by far the worst dealership, i've ever had to deal with....First they lure customers in with phony car ad's with low prices. Once there they tell you the truth about the car, that will quickly have you uninterested. In my case, the car did not have AC, which I didn't even knew was possible. Then the Salesman tried to sell me on an older used car. Which I liked...Until they verbally told me a higher price, to later find out. The car was advertised for a lot less.Shame on me for not doing my homework on these guys. I had already signed the papers.. When confronting the manager, Mike Sewall. He snidely responded by saying I'm having a case of Buyer remorse. While the mechanics were inspecting my car. They gave me the sticker. To later find out, I had a cracked exhaust system. Two other mechanics had said they would have never of passed me.I would have brought the car back, but I honestly did not trust these guys. If you do purchase a used car through them, Please get it inspected elsewhere. I would not take there word for it.I did take them to small claims and lost the case. They didn't want to hear my story...Once they knew they had a signed contract. They threw it out. Again, shame on me. And I only have myself to blame to be suckered in to these crooks.I was hoping to speak to Mr. Tom O'Brien himself, to at least let the owner know how poorly his employees are conducting business. Unfortunatly, He sent a Mr Dan Soares instead on his behalf. I Guess the owner could care less of hiring rude salesmen. So sum everything up. I now have a used car that's falling apart, and had to pay more exspensives to get it running, while they took my trade in that was newer and ad less miles. I wish I never step foot on their lot.I was just looking for a car with better gas mileage.to save money. In my opinion, I feel they are selling used cars that would only last until there 1500 Warranty exspires. At least that is what happen to me.So my gift to whoever is buying a car this Holiday Season...Please do your homework first....Maybe buying new from them, wouldn't be as bad. I'm just telling you what had happen in my scenario.I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Can I also get a paycheck from this dealer?

I've only been trolling Ripoff Reports for a year or so, but maybe that's enough "work" experience for me to also get an "employee of the company" paycheck?

To the OP, you kind of summed this up yourself, and I quote, "Shame on me for not doing my homework on these guys. I had already signed the papers."

Do you have to live a stone age existence in the jungles of some remote Philippines island to not know going in that most car dealers, especially used cars, have, shall we politely say, "integrity issues"?

As long as people like you are willing to purchase such cars from such dealers without doing your homework, such dealers will continue to prosper.

Sadly, your post will probably benefit nobody, since the typical victims, such as you were until now, will not read these posts or any other red flag warning, before making such purchases.

Okay, here goes....STUPID!  What are you warning us about?  An unscrupulous dealer or a STUPID consumer.  I would be ashamed to report this had it happen to me.

I have been accused of working for over 2 dozen companies on ROR...

It's probably close to the same for Coast.

FYI, I DON'T work for this dealer...never have.

Since you'll leave it to us, the general public, MY opinion is you were careless and stupid.

BTW, Coast has been posting on ROR for awhile now and knows that on OP's last resort when running out of a reasoned argument accuses the Rebuttal poster of the bias of working for the "offending" business.

This is comical

You traded in a newer car with less mileage for a car that you were not interested in, had a falsely advertised price, no AC, cracked exhaust and an inspection certification from a dealer, a snide manager and a rude salesman that you do not trust. That is absolutely hilarious.

I am glad to know that the terms of a signed contract prevailed over buyer's remorse in court.
