He operates by telling homeowners that he works with Corporate Clients relocating to the West Coast. This is a Lie. He gets the tenants by advertising on Craig's List.

He takes owners keys and then leaves them under a mat and sends prospects (complete strangers to the homeowner) over to view the home alone!
He takes tenants deposits and doesn't give them to the homeowner. He then cashes them and disappears.
He also hires people to work for him and then writes them bad checks and disappears.
