Toshiba America Business Solutions took advantage of grieving parents after our daughters death 6 years ago. Toshiba induced BlackBall, an award winning software developer, to divert their focus exclusively to Toshiba. BlackBall invested $3M to develop the exclusive software product line for Toshiba. After 18 months in development, which we were required to drive by the location on the freeway where our daughter was killed several times a week, Toshiba decided that they did not want to make the investments in sales and marketing the product that they were obligated too under the contract.

Induced by the lure of Toshiba, at the time, we owned our home free and clear. We took out several mortgages over the 18 months to cover the cost of the $3M to develop the product exclusively for Toshiba. Since Toshiba did not make the investments in sales and marketing the sales have been less than 1% of what they forecasted in the contract. We were forced to sell our home that was worth $7.9M when we started the project for $2.4M 4 years later. We were under water with no revenue thanks to the insidious behavior of Toshiba.

This company feels no remorse or obligation for their actions. Toshiba is a very bad brand name, and no-one should ever trust that brand name. Remember, Toshiba is a insidiously evil Japanese brandname.
