Travelodge Virginia Beach , Dashkar Patel aka Mike Scam Artists , Double Book Rooms, Threatening, Unsafe Virginia Beach Virginia

 Travelodge located at 2802 Atlantic Ave., Virginia Beach, VA cancelled my booking paid in full tried to pocket the money and booked to someone else. I was left stranded and felt threatened by this manager Dashkar Patel aka Mike. So here's the story.. My son and I booked two separate rooms under two separate accounts through Priceline for one night to celebrate my son's birthday weekend. My son receives a call at 10pm from Dashkar asking if he was still coming. My son let him know he would be there shortly. Strangely I did not receive any call. To my astonishment when I arrive at hotel I am told by Mr. Patel my booking has been cancelled by my brother. Mr. Patel went on to say he also informed Priceline. Ofcourse I am upset and tell him how can my brother cancel a reservation that is in my name. He responds that my brother came in and was going to check in but didn't so he cancelled the reservation. Again I'm there like how can my brother check into a room without my consent when its in my name let alone cancel a booking that was paid in full. Mr. Patel was unapologetic never mind professional he yells at me calls me names all in front of my children. Here I am stranded in Virginia when I live in New Jersey. I connect with my brother. My brother comes to the travelodge in shock. My brother and his wife inquired on any available rooms. He let Dashkar know that I have a reservation. Dashkar proceeds to ask for my brothers credit card and prints out a registration form for my booking! Needless to say my brother tells Dashkar he is going to looks around at other hotels if he can't find anything he would stay with me. In turn Dashkar books my room already paid in full to someone else. I don't know what kind of shady business this Travelodge is running to try and check my brother in on a room that's under my name without my consent. To not try to call me never mind to call me when he was cancelling my reservation. He just wanted double the proceedings. Of course he never called Priceline. Priceline had no knowledge of the supposed cancellation. Gives my son a courtesy call on his room to see if he was still coming. Sure. He just wanted to make double the money on one room as well. Be wary of this hotel. This Dashkar Patel cannot be trusted. I truly felt scammed and threatened by him. I have not ever felt this helpless and unsafe at an establishment near this man.
