 RIFTS MMORPG , 

Apparently my account got hacked, when I was inactivity for a certain periods of time when I was being delayed to Iraq for about a month or so, and I got back and I have a e-mail saying my account is banned. I sent them a e-mail , hey unlock my account so I can change the password or remove my info but they cant unless I can call " in my current location internet is horrible and I have no acess to voip or calling any 1800 US comM numbers.  So I sent them a e-mail okay I want you to cancel my account and remove my billing because I do not want to be paying for a game that I don't play or use since I do not want to deal with their company any more. 

From their last e-mail, stating that they will need "ME" to call them saying that I have to cancel my account, okay and I stated that I cant call, why cant they let me cancel the subscription but they rather take the funds of a soldier in another country , risking his life. " I am only living member of my family, and I have no one in the u.s which I cant do this for me or trust with the information. 

Ripoff report please help me stop this company from taking my money from me.

So you want me to prove my self, okay how you wish to prove my self buy scanning my CAC card or do you want to see pictures of me over here, its a lot easier for people like you and  Ashley to trolling and whatever just because your sitting at home forming your a**-grove and enjoying means of your so call luxury without to worry about when  you have to go out on the next CLP out.  It sick to know people like you guys actually exist. Sorry but it doesn't work that way.  You can't in your original post say you want help in getting your money back, which by the way no one on this site has the power to do.  Then when people don't post what you like tell them to stop posting.

I find it strange that a person who is passing themselves off as someone who is protecting freedom has such an anti-free speech attitude when things don't go your way.  The fact is the company is correct.  Your account was hacked and they need to verify it is you.   If this was a bank or something like a credit card I am sure you would expect them to verify you, so why is this site any different? 

Oh and I am sure you won't like the response of the site administrator when(if) he answers you back on your complaint about the other users.

To the OP.  Sorry, you don't get to say who responds and how they respond.

This is a public forum and if you post reports here you can and will get all kinds of rebuttals from all kinds of people.  Just because you don't like the response means nothing at all.

If you don't like the way this works, then don't post here.

It sounds like you need a little dose of humility. 

The company is correct, it's as simple as that.

I doubt trion would even care enough to respond to you. Especially since this is the only complaint against them on this site. Guess what? I will respond to any report I see fit, why? Because this is a free country. Go browse the site a little bit, this sort of thing is commonplace on the site.

Its not the company's fault that you went overseas to some country where you cannot call the US. When you signed up for the game you agreed to a contract that listed their security guidelines. If you want your account back, you just have to make a phone call. No one is ripping you off except yourself. I am trying to give you advice, but since I am not giving you the answer you want you are resorting to sexist comments. I am so glad our country is being defending by sexist misogynists. If you account is banned, they should have stopped billing you. If they continue to bill you, then you need to file a dispute with your credit card company within 90 days of being charged. Additionally, if they charge you, you can use their terms of use agreement against them to get your money back.

You still haven't answered if your account is actually banned or not. I am trying to help you, when clearly no one else wil give you the time of day, and you keep pissing all over me. If you don't want to tell people the whole story, then no one can help you and you are f!#cked.

I will ask you again to stop using this report like some preteen kids to "troll or assume you using this place to relase you frustration, and I already reported you to the main user for the abuse. I am looking for a another means of resulotions since I am not getting help unless your some from the company side or from governement, I dont want to hear it your femine rants because you want too and just cause. I am not here for this type of bs.  I am not gonna explain my entire situation and just cause and why or ifs to a complete stranger. I asked you again to stop using this for your imature rantings. Real people money is being lost and abused and I came here for that and apparently you get amusment by coming here and posting like its nothing.



A question "Ashley": are you affilated with Trionworld or RIFTS gaming, your taking up full responibility when report you to Rippoff reports.

That I am being protected by america's finest. I am sure your CO would love to see this rant at a private citizen. Anyhow, you aren't being ripped off. You got hacked, and the company is not going to remove the banned status until they can verify your identity. This is normal for most any company. Do you want it to be as easy as sending them and email saying that "I am such and such, please go ahead and give me my account back" they have no way to verify that. I'm sorry, but calling their customer service is what you will have to do. Subsequentally, I have never heard of billing to continue after an account suspensionon any mmo. Sure you are out the money you already spent, but you should not receive any further charges. If you do, simply call your credit card company and dispute the charges. That is if you are allowed to call them.

I just checked their terms of service and any monies already paid are nonrefundable even if the account is terminated involuntarily. I see no where on their site that they will continue to charge a suspended account. So is your account suspended or not? If you are currently banned for hacking there should be no further charge, if your account is not banned you can log in to their websit and click cancel. It just takes a few minutes. Unless someone else has a solution, you look stuck until you can call them. These are things to think about when you are overseas. Why didn't you canvel before leaving the states? Surely you knew that it would be difficult if not imppossible to play a MMO while stationed in some 3rd world country

Excuse me Ashley, do you see this website being  place for a forum base ranting or to show your own word because of the hell of it? No, its a place where people want to get their $$ resolved, which I am trying to do and don't appreciate your bs here,  What I am hopping is to get this company to stop charring my CC and I don't need to explain my details to a stranger of why and what I didn't do. If you want do something like this im sure there is games like in wow or your other mom would want to see your trolling. This is real life not a video game thank you.

You will have to call them to speak with them about your account. This would go for ANY MMO. You got hacked, and the banned it. Now they get an email from someone claiming to be the owner to fix everything. How do they have any idea that the emails they are recieving are not from the hackers? Unless you call and verifiy your information with a person, they can't help you. This would be like someone stealing money from your bank on the internet and then sending the bank an email to fix it. The bank wouldn't fix it without proof that you are you. Though, having played this game, its only been out for going on the third month. Surely you had some knowledge of your deployment and could have taken steps on your account ahead of time?

And you don't know ANYONE in the US that can help you? every person you were ever friends with is gone? I find it unlikely that you don't have someone in the states to help you. Especially with a video game, I don't know what kind of trust you need to have with someone to help you cancel a video game.
