Triple Crown Car Wash ripoff damaged car while cleaning and refused to pay for repair St. Petersburg Florida

Triple Crown Car Wash broke the center console lid on our car and refused to admit it and pay for it. Then Denise took it one step further by insinuating that we were liars who did not take care of our cars.

We inspected the vehicle when we went to pick it up after the detail and wax was done. But we were mainly looking at the detail and wax work. We were not expecting to find something broken on our car.

We went by the car wash the next day after we noticed it to see what could be done. Based on the friendly and first-name-basis relationship that we had with Denise and her husband, we did not expect to basically be called a liar about the damage.

The lid was not broken when we brought the car to the car wash and it was broken after we picked the car up from the car wash. The expectation is that when someone leaves their car at a car wash, when they pick it up, the car should be in better condition than when they left it. This was not the case this time, and the car wash should take responsibility for this.

This was not the first time this car wash has damaged one of our cars. They put a hole in the center console area of our other car. Actually, Denise's husband said they probably did cause the hole, and it was because of his honest, friendly nature that we did not press the issue and that we continued using the car wash.

We take very good care of both our vehicles. We get oil changes on time, usually at Denise's car wash before this incident. We get our tires rotated regularly. We get regular inside and outside car washes. We spend on average about $250 per month over and above the car payments, and it has been this way since we got the cars. I think anyone would say that shows just the opposite of a "lack of maintenance."

My husband and I already bought the new lid and had it replaced because we want to keep our cars in good condition. We are shocked Denise has gone to such extreme lengths to save just $95, while losing our business, our friendship and all the future referrals that we would have sent her way.
