Tropical Breeze Boats & Ralph Smith Ralph Smith Sold my boat, forged POA, will not pay me my money. Sanford, Florida

I put my boat on consignment with Tropical Breeze Boats, Ralph Smith, owner apprx. a year and a half ago.  Every time I called for an update Ralph was always working on a deal.

Finally, in June, 2010 he told me the boat had sold and I would have my money in 2 weeks.  I had the title in my possession, so I asked him about it. He said he would get it when he gave me the money.  Two weeks came and I started getting excuses why he could not give me my money. 

Finally,  I began checking Ralph Smith and Tropical Breeze Boats out on the internet only to find out that he had been doing the same thing to others.  I called DMV and found out that the boat had been transferred into someone else's name in April, 2010. Now this is 2 months before he even told me the boat had sold. I requested a copy of my paperwork from him since I do not recall signing a POA. That hasn't happened either.

I notified Ralph about my findings. Of course, he had many excuses.  I told him I was in touch with Action 9 in Orlando. He had excuses for them too. Again he promised to pay me later.  Later has never happened.  Now he will not return my phone calls.  The crazy thing is...he doesn't think he stole my boat!!!
