Just finished reading the information about the person who had multiple amounts of money taken from their bank account. I signed up with True Credit Report for monitoring...it was supposed to be $11.95 per month....I couldn't get the info from their site I needed so I cancelled the service within 24 hours. They give you a special number to call and cancel. I did...got a cancellation notification on my email address. Thought it was all set. The following week I had no less than 4 withdrawals from my bank account. Called customer service and it took days and days to get my money back. Still keeping a careful eye.
If this company is there for the 'public good', as they say....why are they allowed to sell people's own info back to them for a price? It's truly a Rip-off!!! Keep up the good work...don't be fooled by this company's practices. Also, make sure you demand your FOR REAL FREE CREDIT REPORT...they don't have to give you your score for free....that's find..but at least you can review information and correct mistakes. Trans Union seemed to be much worse than Experion or Equifax. They didn't take any money for their report, nor did they have a bunch of errors. I am very dissapointed. More so in the federal trade commission for not overseeing this company properly.
