Stay away from this veterinary clinic, unless you don't mind being lied to, taken advantage of, and then told to go away when you call them on it....

I brought my dog into the clinic because the dog had a large hot spot with swelling.  They looked the dog over, and then gave me an estimate for surgery, one low, one high.  The surgery would only be in the upper range if there was any cancer found.  (supposedly).  to make a long story short, they did the surgery, never called during said surgery, and then charged me over the high end of the estimate - Oh, and there was no cancer, so go figure???  When the dog was picked up, a promise was made by the clinic to do any aftercare free of charge as needed.

Well, the dog did indeed need aftercare, and lo and behold, the clinic did not want to honor their word, and told me there would be another charge, nearly as much as the surgery, to perform the aftercare.  I shoulda known.  When I reminded them of their promise to me, they denied it, and then promptly told me to pick up my dog and fired me as a customer.  isn't that the most laughable customer service story you've heard in a while?

this was flat-out the worst customer service I've ever received in my 30 years of dealing with local stores, merchants, what have you.  I've never received worse information, been lied to more, and had a merchant tell me to leave just because they had gotten as much money out of me as possible.  Buyer beware - stay away from Twin Lakes Veterinary Clinic in Federal Way, WA!!

Unfortunately...

There are situations where an effective, trusting, veterinary-client-patient-relationship is not attainable. This situation was a perfect example. We had hoped for an amicable, professional separation with these particular clients. Unfortunately, the clients submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, as well as other attempts made online to tarnish our reputation in the community. The BBB decided the case in our favor. Their complaint is completely false and we will not be responding to individual comments as it is entirely fabricated. We are very sorry that we were unable to meet this particular clients' needs and hope that their dog is doing well.
