Two Small Men With Big Hearts Moving - Moving.ca The worst movers I have ever used St Jacobs, Ontario

First of all, I have moved many times, including cross country and international, so I know  a little about moving. This move was only a move from my house to a storage company 20 minutes away. 

My first clue was they didn't think I packed properly (please) and were upset that I hadn't moved everything in one room to make it easier for them (they are being paid by the hour).  I had to leave and my cleaning person who was helping with the move reported back that they insulted my furniture saying it was junk and why was I even moving it (I collect antiques), and saying the boxes were too heavy (I am a middle aged woman, and there wasn't one box I hadn't moved myself, and later when I took things out of storage it was me and two other women who moved everything)

When I arrived back they had already left, and left behind a pick-up truck load of stuff that should have been moved. This was obvious stuff, it like they grabbed one box and not the one next to it. They refused to come back and pick it up (I had to hired someone else to do this). They were extremely rude on the phone when talking to me, and even told me I was lucky they even considered moving me since I wasn't organized to their standards. Like I said I have moved many times, and used other moving companies (then again, I used real movers with reputable companies) and have never had any problems or issues with either my packing or organizing.

Six months later when I get my stuff out of storage I get even more surprises. Now the boxes that they didn't think were packed well enough, they claimed they couldn't promise how well they would transport were fine, but I think they make this claim you aren't packed properly (and they do it at the last minute when you are backed into a corner) to try and get out of any liability because they use no care in moving your belongings. The boxes were fine (I think because I do pack well), but furniture ( some which I have moved cross country and over borders) were not just scratched but gorged. I have never had so much damage to my furniture in a move, ever. And the way it was packed in the storage unit, a group of children could have organized it better.

I've told everyone about my experience, and I have had so many people tell me stories about how rude and unprofessional they are. I have not heard of one person who was happy with this company.
