Type International sent fake check, claimed won money, fake bank, fake clearing house, fake letter, scan Palm Springs California

I received an "original letter" in the mail with a check for $2,960.00 from Type international through a company called First Nations Clearing House stating that I won $70,000 and that the check was for processing fees, drawn from a fake Washington Mutual bank in california. Being leary, I took the check to my bank who told me right away that it was a fake, which I already knew. Just wanted more people to be aware of this company. They have quite a reputation on the web and are rated "F" with the better business bureau. Don't quite understand how these people are still allowed to operate. They just wanted to get to my personal bank information so that they could pull money out.
