This is NOT a real credit card provider. This company is bogus and provides the illusion that you are recieving a credit card with a 10,000 credit limit and in actuality you are getting a catalog with less than ten items in it and a paper card that isn't good enough to whip a baby's a*s with. If you hear of Union Workers Credit Services, Inc. do not affiliate with them nor entertain their offers of deals because it is a SCAM!! In the end you WILL be cheated and raped out of YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Union Workers Credit Services

Your response was very insensitive.  You have no idea what each person's individual circumstances are.

I work a 40 hour a week job, but still have a hard time.   Not everyone in debt collects food stamps or welfare, we try to make due and are constantly trying to find a way to make our lives better.  Your reply to the person that needed tires was wrong and unnecessary.  You never know what cards your life will deal to you so think before you jump on your throne.

low income consumers

In regards to your opinions on low income consumers, we are not all collecting welfare, on section 8 and using government assistance such as food stamps because we want to. I myself was disabled in an accident 7 yrs. ago. I do receive s.s.d. because of being disabled. Please do not mistake this for s.s.i. witch if different. I had acquired enough "work points" to receive social security disability. This means I was working at the time of my accident. I do receive food stamps. My income is so low that I would not be able to feed my son with out them. Until 7 yrs. ago I worked and payed taxes just like you, but because of no fault of my own I am no longer able to work. I wish every day of my life that I could go back to the way it was. I would love to  be able to work and not rely on any assistance to take care of my son and myself. I have had 6 surgeries and am guaranteed at least 3 more, witch will include an amputation. When I am offered a low interest credit card I am going to "check it out." I can't  qualify for a traditional credit card because of my low income and poor credit and yes most of the time these offers are a scam. These people pray on consumers like myself. I had to buy a set of tires last mo. because mine were so bad they were showing metal. It was financially devastating to me. So, yes it would be nice to have a low interest credit card for emergencies like this. Please do not assume all recipients of assistance are sitting on their "rear ends" looking for a hand out.

I recieved the dreaded offer letter in the mail myself today and I took the time to read the entire offer.  I did not view it as an offer of credit from Mastercard or Visa because the letter CLEARLY states "GUARANTEED $10,000.00 credit limit valid exclusively toward all credit purchases from credit provider!"  The letter goes on to CLEARLY state "Credit amount referenced herein shall not be construed to function as any type of multi-purpose credit card and is exclusively applicable for credit purchases from UWCS."  The problem here does not necessarily fall on the company but the consumer.  If you accept credit offers that you do not read, you probably don't need credit to begin with.  If you can't get traditional credit due to your financial circumstances, you don't need it.  I'm sorry to be harsh but it is true. Irresponible financial management on your part to see this type of offer as an answer to your dreams is why I have to worry about the tax increases I will have to endure on APR 15, while you cash your government checks, buy your food with food stamps, pay your rent with your section 8 vouchers.  You should be ashamed, but yet you spend my hard earned money with a flourish, and not a care in the world. Take it while you can, try and educate yourself, because your time my parasitic friends will soon to end.  And by the way, I just shredded the "offer" because the paper is worth more recycled than any "membership benefit" offered within.
