Last December I ordered a knife from Unique Blade. It was a "Shell Puller" with stag handles, at the cost of $89.99. It was to be a Christmas present for a good friend who was in town. 3 weeks after I received it the leaf spring broke. I was told to send it back for a replacement after they made it sound like the springs just don't break without tampering with them, which was kind of an insult. After waiting several weeks I contacted Unique Blade and was told they were out of stock. I kept offering to take another "Bill Deshivs Leverletto" with stag handles that seld for $79.00 ($10.00 less), plus a pair of brass knuckles paperweight that sells for $19.99. But that was out of the question, in fact, they would not even respond to that. Plus they seemed to be OUT OF STOCK on any other knife I liked or in that price range. Then I was told they had 1 Honey Horn shell puller they would send me that was in great working order. It came in, and what a disappointment. It had a wobbly blade, so around and around we went again. I finally settled for JUST the "Bill Deshivs $79.00 stag horn knife, and nothing extra. I basically lost $10.00 on the deal not counting the shipping back 2 times. Now after being opened a few hundred times, the spring broke in this one, and I received it it Febuary. I have had side openers for over 40 years and never had this problem before, especially 3 out of 3 times. Now they won't even deal with me, and say they can't find my order except for the one in Febuary. Buyers beware, their quality seems to be a little on the low side, and they won't honor their warrenty. The last knife I got was way too late for Christmas, so I kept it myself for work opening boxes, and yes it had to be sharpened. If you want quality look somewhere else. Here is the warrenty they state:
Unique Blade, LLC offers a 30 day warranty period after the item is delivered if the item is defective. If your item is factory defective we will exchange the item at no additional cost to you for the exact same model. If the model is no longer available you will receive a store credit good toward any item of equal or greater value. Most name brand items have a factory warranty anywhere from 30 days to Limited Lifetime. If your item has a factory warranty, then you need to contact the manufacturer if the Unique Blade, LLC 30 day warranty period has passed. Return shipping charges are your responsibility, unless the mistake is ours and you request a refund. Example: We sent the wrong item by mistake. Your item(s) must be returned in the same condition as they were sent to you. Any items that have been abused, sharpened, showing signs of customer repairs (disassembled) or have missing/damaged boxes and or paperwork will be refused and sent back C.O.D. or the restocking fee may be raised from 15% to 25% and done so on a case by case basis.

BELOW IS THE ORIGINAL REPLY ON A DIFFERENT CONSUMER WEBSITE---DAVID REPLIED NEAR IMMEDIATELY AND WE RESOLVED THE ISSUE.
Please feel free to contact me "Kevin" I am the owner of Unique Blade LLC and I will gladly review and resolve this situation for you. This story sounds extremely odd and am very interested in figuring where things went wrong. We definately do not purposely leave our customers with the short end of the stick and will gladly issue a full refund for any item within our warranty period and we have even offered refunds beyond the 30 days on a case by case basis. I also wish to investigate how and or why you weren't given a equal trade for the defective item. We have never EVER knowingly did something of that nature.
Once again, please contact "Kevin Cooper" and as noted above I will most certainly resolve this situation in hopes of making you feel appreciated and satisfied with the results. I promise I will not fail to do so!
