This is the fourth outfit that is using legal records from tax archives in richmond to file bogus back tax collection demands. I think they actually buy the debt for pennies on the dollar from the state and then attack the address with the fulll amount that may have been owed.
It started out with a legal firm in richmond that was far more convincing than this one. It is also legal thanks to a new law passed regarding chapter 7 and chap 11 protection. This law alllows private firms to represent the state as legit tax collection by the state on any uncollected or vague refrenced tax debts that are over 10 years old? but less than twenty years of age.
The problem is they only have company names and address,s of firms that are long gone but they try anyway. To be explicit, they attack whoever is at the address with some of the most horrifying threats that leave you wondering if you,ll have your home very long. Even if you correct the issue they just sell the debt off to the next collection agency and you have to do it all over again. Personally I am on the fourth collection agency that is doing this.
