Unitrin, Financial Indemnity Insurance Rip Off, Scandalous Insurance Company and claims adjusters Woodland Hills, California

I have been insured with Unitrin for the past 3 years without ever having a claim or ticket or anything. VANGO Insurance brokers acted as my Insurance Agent for them. On March 23, 2005 my fiance was involved in an accident in my car which involved 2 other vehicles and Unitrin has denied coverage for my policy. They state that it was from non-payment. I find this to be impossible when my payments were set up on automatic withdrawl from my checking account every month. They state that there was an increase on my policy of an additional $34.40 and that it was never paid. They have no explanation of the increase or why they did not include the additional amount when taking the payment directly from my account. The problem is I did actually send the additional $34.40 via check until I could get the increase explained to me or credited back towards my policy and I have a confirmation from the broker stating that my policy had been reinstated on 2/23/05 without any lapse of coverage. How then could I have not been insured? I now have the other parties involved wanting to sue me for their damanges and my insurance company has denied them as well as myself. Please help, what recourse do I have???
