I observed a motorhome on Craigslist, listed for $2000. I thought it odd, or "To good to be true", so I checked the bluebook on the vehicle which listed it as more than $21.000. I called the number which left an email and phone number, advising them I had cash, and could come and buy it TODAY!
I then recieve a text message from the phone number shown (***-***-****) stating that actually, his "Mother was selling the vehicle, and gave me the email listed above indicating she needed a Western Union funds transfer, and he would deliver the vehicle. Yeah Sure. I checked the phone number, and it was listed in texas, yet the vehicle was supposedly in Sacramento.
The phone report indicated two other parties had listed this number as a scammer, but no details. I went back to check the ad on Craigslist, and it had been flagged for removal, as a scammer.
