Unlimted Van Lines Con Artists Union City New Jersey

 I contacted several movers and this company gave me what I thought was a reasonable quote. I spoke with Leila who took my inventory over the phone. I went room to room, describing each item to be moved. They arrived over an hour late. The man in charge walked through the house telling me I had more stuff than what was listed. I looked at his sheets and indeed there were many things missing that I had told her. They told me I could cancel but we had to be out by the next day so finding another mover was not an option. Through the whole process, they ruined brand new carpet, left garbage all over the house, plugged in their cell phones without asking and the man in charge was RUDE. Almost 2 weeks later when they deliver our stuff, the cost had nearly doubled what the quote was, several items were broken including a piano. I filed a claim with CSI. I have to wait 120 days, which I did. Called them when I still had no resolution. They postponed another 30 days. I call again when that time passed. I am informed that Unlimited Van Lines has home out of business and terminated their contract with CSI. I tried to call the number but it is now out of service. I guess now I have to contact an attorney . .
