After spending multiple hours trying to jailbreak my iphone 3gs new bootrom with iOS 4 with no avail I found an article on Google (www.intfreshnews.com) claiming that a company called Unlock iPhone USA has a way to do it. I went to the site and sure enough they are 100% money back guaranteeing that it will work. I paid the 24.99 and go an email from swreg.org telling me to click http://unlockiphoneusa.com/unlocking-area.html which directs me to a site to click http://unlockiphoneusa.com/members/ where I can select iPhone 3gs then iOS 4 which takes me to a page that says "This is currently being prepared for your IMEI. We will email once ready." "Note : It may take up to 48 Hours to Generate the Unlocking Code !" Well sure enough I waited 48 hours and did not receive an unlocking code. I called the listed support number: +44 (0) 8448849594 which after 1 ring goes to a generic voicemail: "Hello and thank you for calling. Unfortunately we are unable to answer your call at this time. If you could leave a message we will return your call as soon as we can..." I also tried emailing the support email address however I get a bounce back stating: the message cannot be delivered 550 550 "Unknown User" (state 14). I tried contacting SWREG who processed the transaction and of coarse I found thousands of scam alerts about SWREG. So right now I am on the phone with Bank of America to file fraudulent transaction then I will be contacting Visa to let them one of their customers is a fraudulent.
