Add my name to the rip-off victims of James Hargrove, aka Comfort Source/Urban Homestyle. I have lost my $1705 deposit. After talking to him on the phone, he sounds as slimy as he apparently is. After placing an order in early March, I repeatedly got the run-around and found his phone number. I spoke with him, but got the brush off, or "I'll get on that right away" routine.
I have filed with the NC BBB, and contacted my credit card company. Unfortunately, I am beyond the 120-day coverage"thanks to 2 months of Hargrove's brush-off tactics" so I have to write a letter of appeal, but will probably be turned down.
If anyone reads this and is in the same boat, maybe there's a way we could get joint satisfaction"a class action suit, picket the guy's house, dump old furniture in his yard, etc. Hargrove"we know where you live. As Netti reported: His home address is 19 Colburn Street, Waltham, MA (781) 790.1481.
