Well, let me start off by saying that this company has began a wage garnishment against although I made my payments consistently. Since that time, I had a hearing concerning the amount of money that was being stolen from me. My payment amount was reduced do to all of the bills I have and I received paperwork stating that, but this collection agency has still continued to take out the higher amount from my check.
I have been in contact with the agency as well as my payroll department going on 2 months now. When I spoke with the collection agency representative she confirmed that the payment amount was reduced and that the paperwork she has also states that. She went on to tell me that they had already sent something out to my payroll department and it should arrive within 7-10 business days and she told me that she would also fax the paperwork.
Well, this was at the beginning of August and it's now October and I have had 3 pay checks with the wrong amount still taken out. I have constantly contact this agency and this representative continues to tell me that she has mailed out the paperwork and faxed the information although when I contact my payroll department they are still telling me that they have not received a fax nor anything by mail from this collection agency.
Now another pay period is approaching and this issue still hasn't been resolved. I am now in the belief that this collection agency is purposely not sending the paperwork in order to continue receiving the amount they want to. A fax shouldn't take 2 months getting anywhere and nothing mailed out in this country should take 7-10 business days. These people are purposely ignoring the order put in place.
I would like advice or help from anyone on this matter. By the agency ignoring the order put in place, it is affecting my livlihood and other bills. This is completely wrong!
