I would like to recant a report made last Monday concerning my neighbor, Kathleen Sutton's roof. US Foam and Coatings or Polo International, was out at her house Tuesday morning first thing with a big crew and fixed the roof and signed off on it so her realtor can give the "sign off clearance" to the purchaser's bank and they will be closing, hopefully, November 6th.
I want to apologize and take back any harm or any unprofessionalism I may have caused Mr. Kaplan. US Foam, Polo International and Mr. Kaplan, in my opinion, acted in a businesslike way, always, to Kathleen Sutton, and myself, and I was just trying to help, but I guess I got carried away, and I am sincerely sorry and very embarrassed to have hurt you!

US Foam owes a lot of apologies

It is all well and good that US Foams conducted themselves "businesslike" on this particular occasion. However I have been cleaning up jobs after US Foam for the last 4 years. One follow thru does not make up for the many people, companies and associations they have hosed over.
I can think of 5 jobs off the top of my head where they blantantly did horrible work, never answered the customer's calls and even after multiple return trips, still had leaks. One job they only put the coating down at half the required thickness. I know subcontractors that will never work with them again.
I wouldn't refer anyone to their company even for re-roofing a doghouse. From what I have observed first hand of their work, they give roofers a bad name.
I hope the change of name brings a change in work ethic.
