This phone #202-697-7222 from Maryland has called a couple times in a day. I finally decide to answer it.
Some foreign guy saying he is from the U.S. Office for Government Grants & says I have qualified for $10,200 because I have always filed my taxes promptly. It was very hard to understand him. Sounded like he was Indian or pakistani. I figured it was too good to be true. gave me a phone # to called to verify this with his supervisor at 202-738-1226. I don't think I'm going to call back after I read another report about the same thing and having to pay a $200 donation fee. I wonder if this was the same guy calling me at my pizzeria claiming to be an office supply company or the company that sells the compliance posters.
