Us Mail Order Exchange ripped off by Us mail order exchange Champlain Internet

I ordered three hearing aids from Us mail order exchange in May 2004. My check was cashed june 1, 2004. I called the second week of june and I was told that my order was not in their computer at this time, to call back in another week. I called the first week of July and I was told that my order was found but it was on backorder and should be shipped within the next two weeks. I called the second week of July and requested a refund and was told that it would be sent to me within seven to fourteen days. To date I have not received my order or my refund and I cannot get through to them over the phone and I also have placed numerous complaints to their customer service department online and have received no reply and now their website says that their store is now closed. It's an obvious case of let the buyer beware and anything that sounds to good to be true usually is. An investigation by the state attorney general and america online who pride themselves on making the internet secure are also partially responsible for such fradulent tactics.
